“but for the elect’s sake”

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything of the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways” (James 1:5–8).

In love God warned us of the last generation of this age saying, “See, I have told you beforehand” (Matt. 24:25). Jesus gave His covenant elect insider-information as it were. Thus, “Love…rejoices in the truth” (1 Cor. 13:4–6) for Jesus said “I am the truth” (John 14:6) which produces love for Christ and fellowman, rejoicing in the end-time teachings of Christ.

But for nearly forty years, now, the church has largely been silent, and/or extremely anemic, concerning Jesus’ warnings of the end-times that “unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened” (Matt. 24:22).

God also said that “he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one” (1 Cor. 2:15). Together with judging “all things”, Christians have the obligation to judge whether or not they’ve been taught end-time truths according to Jesus. It’s critical, for Jesus didn’t teach about gathering His elect, and then His apostles teach about another event.

Many saints have been deceived to believe that Jesus’ Matthew 24 Olivet Discourse did not concern the rapture but His second coming, an event pre-trib rapture deceivers purport to be different from the rapture. Such teaching is worthless idolatry and of the flesh. Contextually, God said, “Those who regard worthless idols forsake their own Mercy” (Jonah 2:8).

Many Christians have already acquiesced to evil spirits because the pre-trib rapture is demonically inspired. Neither Christ nor His apostles taught such anarchy against God’s Word. Yet, millions of Christians hold steadfastly to that lie. As a result, other lies and deceptions will more easily attend those who have already exchanged critical truths of Jesus Christ for a lie.

Here’s the travesty of the pre-trib rapture belief: it changes the God of the Bible; it destroys the need for end-time study; it kills discernment; it steals the spirit of preparation to endurance vital to enduring to the end of the age, all of which are the work of Satan and his demonic agents.

Consider again Jesus’ warning that “unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened” (Matt. 24:22). Please consider: are you one of God’s “elect”? If you answer, “yes”, then Jesus is speaking as clearly and directly to you as He did when He said “unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3).

This will impact you and Christians world-wide. What dreadful things or events will come upon the earth with such evil ferocity that if God did not shorten those days no flesh would be saved? It concerns the days of Noah – non-redeemable beings, half-breeds, agents of Satan, agents the unbelieving world calls aliens, but beings that wise saints identify as demonic entities.

It was July 1947 when the prominent Roswell, New Mexico UFO incident occurred. It is not mere coincidence that less than a year later Israel was reborn. We should not think Satan was ignorant of the truth that God was then initiating the start of the last generation of this age.

Demons are the disembodied spirits of the Genesis 6 giants, and by order of Christ to whom “All authority has been given…in heaven and on earth” (Matt. 28:18), they will return for the times of the end. They will come “with all power, signs, and lying wonders” (2 Thess. 2:9) for which the Western church is largely unprepared, because it’s taught saints they’ll be raptured before then.

Unbelievers have romanticized aliens since Israel became a nation, when the United Nations was created, and Daniel’s revived fourth beast-kingdom, Rome, the European Union arose. All these end-time entities have grown together and will play their specific role to fulfill every prophetic detail of God’s Word, which specifically warns that “as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matt. 24:37).

We must believe God by faith that “The coming of the lawless one [Antichrist] is according to the working of Satan, [who comes “to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10)] with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved” (2 Thess. 2:9–10).

Don’t miss the latter part of that text that says there will be “those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth”. Millions in the church have been led to disbelieve the truth and “the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 1:9) for the end-times and have thus not loved the truth, the result of which will bear fruit to many forsaking “their own Mercy” (Jonah 2:8).

I pray that you have more than just an intellectual knowledge of the fact that Satan hates you, your family, children, spouse, and all humanity. Why – because we are made in the image of God. We are God’s image bearers and Satan hates us for it. Yet, God will let Satan reign this earth for seven years “with all power” and the consequences of that are nearly unimaginable.

While Satan comes “with all power”, no false pre-trib teaching will diminish “the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 1:9) that He raises the righteous dead and gathers His elect “at the last day” (John 6:40, 44, 54), at “the first resurrection” (Rev. 20:4–6), “at the last trumpet” (1 Cor. 15:51–52), “Immediately after the tribulation” (Matt. 24:29–31), when “the Lord Himself will descend from heaven” (1 Thess. 4:16) – why – because Christ must remain in heaven “until the times of restoration of all things” (Acts 3:21). Christ does not descend from heaven until the last day.

God restores all things “at the last day”, when “the Lord Himself will descend from heaven”, when “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ” (Rev. 11:15), at the resurrection rapture, not before. And in the seven years leading up to that final day the seed of Satan will return to steal, kill and destroy, as it was in the days of Noah.

It is not fear-mongering to say that we will see dreadful things, for it was Jesus who said that men’s hearts will fail them “from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth” (Luke 21:26). But the church’s silence on this matter has set the stage for offense.

Here’s a sad reality: many unbelievers of this world are more knowledgeable and more readily prepared for alien demonic beings coming upon the earth than are people of the church. Why – because unbelievers have been conditioned by the spirit of Antichrist to accept demonic alien entities, while the church has largely NOT been conditioned to the reality of end-time truths.

God’s promise is that “for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened”. God will not, however, shorten the specified 1,260 days of the first half of the tribulation ministry of His two witnesses, nor the specified 1,260 days of the last half of the tribulation when “the woman” (Rev. 12:6, 14) fled to the safety and provision of God. Both halves equal 2,520 days which is seven years. It is the days immediately after the tribulation that will be shortened, lest no flesh would be saved.

Demonic beings will soon manifest upon the earth. They will likely proclaim themselves the progenitors of humanity; they will have great knowledge for their fathers once walked in the presence of God. They will likely insist that they give us mere humans a re-reading of Scripture, alleging that they have the correct revelation. Who will resist them who proclaim, “Who is like the beast?” (Rev. 13:4) as they make “fire come down from heaven” (Rev. 13:13)?

Remember, God loved us enough to disclose to us in vivid detail the times of the end. But that information can only benefit us if we believe and act upon it. God has literally given us insider-information that we might not be shocked and offended at those things coming upon the earth. Christ lovingly told us these things with time to prepare. We must not squander the time.
