Love Prepares

Friday, March 13, 2020

Have you gone grocery shopping when local meteorologists forecast a storm? Of course. It’s mayhem. Essentials are quickly gone. Milk, bread, water, meats and vegetables, toilet paper, paper towels and more disappear due to the forecast. People prepare because they actually (and wisely) believe a higher authority with knowledge. And because they believe the meteorologist, they prepare for the snowstorm, hurricane or whatever event to its end. That’s called acting in faith – having not seen but yet believed. Thus, preparation proves one’s faith.

That the year 2020 began with unexpected events is an understatement. And to counter those unexpected events demands preparation. Among today’s most highly publicized events is the COVID-19 disease sweeping the world, which began in Wuhan, China. It’s gotten the attention of global leaders to combat this sickening and killer disease. And to ignore signs of impending disaster is not only irresponsible, but a reckless disregard for human life. But understand, there are, in fact, evil people in the world who would engineer this disaster to depopulate humanity.

However, the large majority of people would never think of engineering a bioweapon for such heinous crimes against humanity. Nonetheless, the disease is now spreading to the four corners of the globe, and morally sound people are doing everything in their power to combat this. The point is that many people are preparing for the eventuality of a worst case scenario. We’re now seeing public schools, colleges and universities closed and businesses shuttered, and under U.S. presidential order, international travel restricted. Even the U.S. Congress has plans to tele-work.

The long term reality of COVID-19 has all the potential of stalling world economies as nations are economically intertwined beyond reversal. Nations are interdependent. International trade is vital to the fiscal solvency of many businesses. And today, nations are closing their borders due to COVID-19 causing international trade and profits to plummet. Some vacation clubs, shopping centers, convention centers, sports arenas, cargo and cruise ships, and airlines have significantly reduced availability, if not nearly closed. And for many, financial collapse now looms. Note this analysis from Mike Adams, a qualified environmental scientist. And check out this article from Mike Adams: “Breaking: State of Washington about to go under medical martial law to stop the virus from infecting 64,000 by May, warns Gov. Inslee”.

The Governor of Pennsylvania “Declares Coronavirus ‘Disaster’ – Calls-up National Guard, Invokes Full Emergency Powers”. And from Yahoo! News “one study predicts that even the best-case scenario is 15 million dead and a $2.4 trillion hit to global GDP”. Does COVID-19 require “Full Emergency Powers”? Are the predictions of “15 million dead” plausible? As of this week 13 states have already declared “states of emergency”. Only authorities with expertise and knowledge could project such things, but reality demands that people and nations prepare to provide for and protect themselves to the best extent possible. And from Fox News: “Angela Merkel warns 70% of Germany could get coronavirus”. And from Zero Hedge: “Italy Suspends Mortgage Payments, Businesses Dying As Panicked Residents Hoard Food”.

Here’s an alternative perspective from The Rutherford Institute by Constitutional Attorney John Whitehead: “This Is a Test: How Will The Constitution Fare During a Nationwide Lockdown?” From the article: “You don’t scare them by making dramatic changes. Rather, you acclimate them slowly to their prison walls. Persuade the citizenry that their prison walls are merely intended to keep them safe and danger out. Desensitize them to violence, acclimate them to a military presence in their communities, and persuade them that only a militarized government can alter the seemingly hopeless trajectory of the nation.”

I believe that while governments have people greatly distracted by the COVID-19 hype, they’re simultaneously rolling out a nefarious and untested imminent danger to humanity right under our collective noses…namely 5G. I further believe the citizens of many nations are being tested as to how “the herd” will respond to the New World Order’s demands. Here’s why: the CDC reports 20,000 – 52,000 flu deaths for the 2019 – 2020 U.S. Flu Season, with very little media coverage. However, the CDC also reports that as of March 12, 2020, the coronavirus which began in Wuhan, China has claimed 36 lives in the United States, with sustained media frenzy! The delta in deaths between the regular flu and coronavirus, and related media hype is unjustified!  Coronavirus, at least temporarily, is essentially shutting down Western civilization! Why?

Now, this applicable comparison. Believers and unbelievers alike prepare for natural disasters. Yet, though God has spoken to believers in Scriptures that a far worse disaster than COVID-19 is very near, few in the churches actually believe, proven by the fact that most preachers and Bible teachers ignore the seven-year tribulation, a time when the Antichrist rules this world “with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception” (2 Thess. 2:9–10). The truth is, many Christians more readily believe a scientific or meteorological report, and prepare accordingly, than they believe Jesus Christ – proven by evangelical leadership’s dismissal of the end-times! They dismiss it as they’ve exchanged Truth for the pre-tribulation rapture deception.

To the point of being prepared vs. unprepared, Jesus gave us the parable of the ten virgins – the five wise prepared to endure to the end, but the foolish did not prepare and were barred from the Bridegroom’s wedding feast, see Matt. 25:1–13. This parable comes at the conclusion of Christ’s Olivet Discourse, when He warned us of the truth of what to expect in the first 3 1/2 years of tribulation, then 3 1/2 years of great tribulation, a time worse than anything in world history.

“Out of sight, out of mind” seems to be the spiritual thinking and rationale of the day. The lack of teaching the end-times according to Jesus makes the people not only ignorant but unprepared to deal with the tribulation to soon engulf the world. Why is it easier to believe a CDC report for a pandemic and take swift decisive action to guard against that danger than it is to believe Jesus’ testimony and warnings for the end-times; the testimony of the One who Christians say they love and worship? Answer: fear of man!

I often reflect on love for God and His Word, and that love, if real, will prove itself in word and deed to what Christ lovingly taught His followers. If you’re a spouse or the parents of children – would you refuse to tell family and friends the truth of a meteorologist’s report of an imminent disaster? Of course not! In love you would teach and instruct in everything you know, and you would do whatever you could to help them prepare. That’s love in action. But to disregard the warning while having knowledge of it demonstrates a blatant lack of love. The same is true for the testimony of Jesus Christ for the times of the end.

Countries of the world, either have, or are preparing for COVID-19, but something far worse is on the horizon. An end of days apocalypse is brewing. The U.N.’s 2030 Agenda For Sustainable Development is now coalescing. A New World Order and a One World Government will result. Governments deceive, and WWIII is fomenting. Disease, pestilence, famines, earthquakes and volcanoes are now rapidly increasing. Pray for pastors and Bible teachers that God’s Holy Spirit instills true love for God, for His Word, for fellowman, and for the WHOLE gospel, and not in partiality. “Love rejoices in the truth” (1 Cor. 13:6), and Jesus said “I am the truth” (John 14:6).
