Unbelief of Christ is Deadly

Friday, June 26, 2026

With the post-16th Century Reformation and advent of thousands of Christian denominations, the organized church has largely become a smorgasbord of ideas to believe or disbelieve at will. At the head of that table many pastors offer up traditions of men trained by their denominational biases instead of the whole of God’s word. But it’s only by knowledge of God’s word, true new birth faith, and Spirit-led discernment that protects one from becoming ensnared by any number of those enticing offerings on that smorgasbord. Satan “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10a). And the church is increasingly just like ancient Israel wherein the large majority rebelled and suffered God’s divorce, Jer.3:8; Eccl. 1:9; Rom. 11:22.

Unbelief of Christ is irrecoverably deadly if one does not repent of that unbelief. Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). The Holy Spirit made clear the consequences for belief and unbelief of Christ: “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36). [My emphasis] When was the last time you heard that from your organized religious establishment? Maybe you’ve never heard that sobering truth. Teaching whole truth vs traditions of men is what separates true ministers from hirelings. Many preach in non-convicting ways to protect their credentials, income, benefits and praise of men.

Concerning the time of the end of this present age, the coming seven-year tribulation and rule of Antichrist, followed by the resurrection rapture, all of which is clearly taught by Jesus Christ has been cast aside as not applicable to the church by false teachers who exchanged Christ’s truths for lies, assumptions and conjecture because they loved not the truth. It’s rebellion. It’s unbelief. It’s the work of Satan. How do I know this? It not only opposes, but disqualifies the teachings of Christ from being applicable to believers! And tens of millions have bought Satan’s lies. On that smorgasbord are the pre-trib rapture, mid-trib rapture, and pre-wrath rapture, all created by men who have willfully avoided the testimony of Jesus Christ! Then there’s the stand alone truth and testimony of Jesus that He gathers His elect “Immediately after the tribulation” (Matt. 24:29–31).

Come now, in true faith do you actually believe Jesus gathering His elect is multiple choice? Or did He clearly teach “the resurrection” (John 5:28–29), “at the last day” (John 6:40, 44, 54), and “at the last trumpet” (1 Cor. 15:52), when “the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first” (1 Thess. 4:16), because “To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, [singular, not multiple times] apart from sin, for salvation” (Heb. 9:28), when “the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!’” (Rev. 11:15)? Of course Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit taught all those truths! But few believe! The large popular majority do not believe Christ, but have exchanged His truths for ear-tickling lies.

You might wonder why I repeatedly teach the truths of Christ concerning the times of the end. It’s now been 19 years since God called me in June 2007 to begin teaching end-time truths as I want to help people be prepared to endure to the end. It’s been a difficult road in human terms, but Jesus said that if we believed Him we wouldn’t be accepted by many and that, indeed, has been the case. But I will stay the course defending and teaching the truths of Christ because He said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” and I believe Jesus with all my heart, mind, soul and strength, as do some of my many faithful readers.

Then there’s the evil notion in the Dispensational church that unbelieving Jews of Israel are still God’s chosen people. It makes me literally question whether the majority of professing believers read the same Holy Bible that I read. In their unity and solidarity with unbelieving Jews of Israel those professing Christians embrace what Jesus called “a synagogue of Satan” (Rev. 2:9, 3:9). It just demonstrates how widespread Satan’s deceptions have been accepted and believed as truth. I have been waging spiritual warfare against Dispensationalism’s lies and deception for the past 19 years since God called me to teach the end-time truths of God in Christ. In order to teach Christ’s end-times and the gathering of His elect according to Scripture, I had to leave the Assemblies of God Church in June of 2014; it only allowed for the deceitful Dispensational pre-trib rapture lie.

I refer you again to Jesus who said: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way [the easy popular road] that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matt. 7:13–14). [My emphasis] Pay close attention when Jesus uses the words many vs the few. Jesus taught the parable of God’s wedding feast: “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. [he wasn’t clothed in the righteousness of Jesus Christ] So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called but few are chosen” (Matt. 22:11–14). [My emphasis] Do any hear?

I call your attention to the lukewarm Laodicean church which equals the church of these end-times. “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. [Note that Christ isn’t inside, but stands outside] If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Rev. 3:15–20).

Again, “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36). [My emphasis] As it now is by the deceptions of Dispensationalism, the evangelical church does not believe the testimony of Jesus for the end-times, the gathering of His elect, or the state of ungodliness of the nation of Israel in its continued rejection of Jesus Christ. How do you think that will go when “the man of sin” (2 Thess. 2:3) the Antichrist is revealed and unbelieving Jews of Israel hail him as messiah? The majority will continue in their ungodly unity and solidarity with unbelieving Jews of Israel!

To every professing believer of Jesus, who or what is the prize of your faith: unbelieving Jews of Israel, or the Authority of Christ? I warn you in the love of Christ: if you find unity and solidarity with unbelieving Jews of Israel as demonstrated by Dispensational Zionist churches, you defy Christ and make yourself an enemy of God who said that unbelieving Jews are “a synagogue of Satan”. “Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons” (1 Tim. 4:1). We’re now there! “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables” (2 Tim. 4:3–4). Few discern those fables!

True believers having the Holy Spirit must be discerning of Satan’s deceptions. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8). “For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works” (2 Cor. 11:14–15). “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ” (2 Cor. 11:13). Do you discern the spirit(s) in your church pulpit? Does it preach the testimony of Christ or not? This is why it’s imperative that every professing believer knows God’s word and not blindly assume that what comes from the pulpit is of God! But who pays attention to what God really says? Many attend an organized church in order to simply check off that box every week. It’s just routine. It looks good. It’s what good citizens do. It gets ones name on the membership. It gives a false sense of security and belonging without actually entering the difficult road leading to life, Matt. 7:13–14.

Jesus said of unbelieving religious ruling Jews, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness” (Matt. 23:27); and “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win one proselyte, and when he is won, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves” (Matt. 23:15). [My emphasis] Yet, these unbelieving Jews are the people with whom evangelical church leaders and their followers find unity and solidarity! Dispensational pastors won’t preach the whole truths of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said of unbelieving Jews: “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it” (John 8:44). The descendants of those unbelieving Jews continue to murder the innocent to this very day! Israel is guilty of genocide in Gaza, and many evangelical Zionist churches support that genocide as they join themselves in solidarity and unity with unbelieving Jews of Israel! That article states “A significant body of research by legal and rights experts has concluded that Israel is intent on destroying Palestinians, including analyses by UN investigators, rights bodies such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch, and genocide scholars worldwide.” That is the fruit of Dispensationalism! Believers who support wicked Israel, which by default includes its genocide, will reap accordingly! And this article from the United Nations.

My second book “ON EAGLES’ WINGS” explains in detail how to know Christ and find God’s Bozrah sheepfold of safety and place of provision for the last 1,260 days of the great tribulation.

About the author

I'm a non-denominational ordained minister, and have written TheFridayLetter.com for many years and teach the truths of Jesus Christ with an emphasis on the end-times. This on-line and in-person ministry to which God called me helps many people to know the truths of Christ rather than traditions of men which make "the word of God of no effect" (Mark 7:13).
