First, a note about the 2018 Mid-Term Elections. Republicans held the Senate, but Democrats have retaken the House. The Church had better realize that it’s Trump / King Cyrus-moment of reprieve is nearly over. The One World Order will advance; God foretold it, and no amount of prayer will stop it; and a pre-trib rapture hope will surely fail as evil temporarily wins this age.
While the Scriptures make it abundantly clear that God “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Tim. 2:4), many desire to be God, and use prophetic end-time knowledge and its resulting technologies to create the One World Order under control of the Antichrist and his mark of the beast. It’s been developing deceptively for the last century.
With the onset of the 20th century the Dan. 12:4 increase of knowledge began its fulfillment. Prior to that time mankind moved about, raised their families, farmed, traveled, and existed just as it’s done for thousands of years. But with end-time knowledge – technology, used for both good and evil, began its prophetically unstoppable march toward the mark of the beast.
But for ease of life, health and wealth, few recognized where this knowledge and technology was leading. The mark has been arriving gradually, not suddenly, not to scare people but to acclimate them to what would ostensibly enhance their lives socially and economically. A birth certificate numbered everyone; Social Security numbered everyone; banks, credit cards, loans and cell phone accounts numbered everyone. And in the great tribulation everyone will be numbered in order to buy or sell. People are now comfortably accepting of being numerically ID’d. The hook is set.
Here’s a pastor’s pathetic comment: “This shady character, the Beast, has yet to make a statue speak – or have it kill those who will not worship him. (Greek, “proskuneo” which means to bow or prostrate oneself before another, i.e. worship) I will note that this “mark” is forced upon people and that it is received on their right hand (which I find very hateful to left-handed people –methinks the Beast needs some sensitivity training toward the left-handed – at least that is what our current society might think) or on their forehead. I also am not aware of any move to restrict ALL buying and selling to this method. If these things are not happening – or more correctly – have not yet happened – then the “mark of the beast” in its biblical form is not yet among us.”
Clearly, that pastor mocks what will unleash the most dreadful time of persecution of Christians the world has ever known. His spiritually condescending comments are a microcosm of a much broader lukewarm spirit held in the evangelical Church, especially by those trusting in the pre-tribulation rapture as they assign tribulation consequences to others.
Antichrist “causes all…to receive a mark” (Rev. 13:16). That “mark” which seals one’s eternal doom will not be placed by an external force, but will be the result of the process of one’s willing inward changing of his or her DNA, with an external manifestation. Similarly, when homosexual men “burned in lust for one another…[they receive] in themselves the penalty of their error which was due” (Rom. 1:27), which penalty can be repented of, unlike the mark of the beast.
Today, normalized life conveniences, together with all their numbers can be, and are, stolen, forged, bought and sold. To remediate, the One World Order now pursues, biometrics, artificial intelligence, robotics, genetic alteration, DNA corruption, retinal ID, facial and fingerprint scans, RFID implant chips, etc. Many industries are already using these so-called safer technologies.
Consider: when the fallen angels of Gen.6:1–4, bore offspring to human woman and so corrupted the genetic bloodline of humans that “the Lord was sorry that He made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart”, saying, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast…for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth” (Gen. 6:6–12), it was a direct result of genetic and DNA corruption by the satanic seed of fallen angels. Those days have technologically returned, but God will again intervene by bringing this age to an end.
Desiring to be mighty like the Nephilim of Noah’s days, “Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth” (Gen. 10:8 KJV). He did that by satanic DNA corruption; he changed his genetic code designed by God and sealed his eternal doom; he became the god Osiris. And Jesus said “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matt. 24:37). Man’s desire to be God persists, and DNA corruption will attempt to achieve it. Remember, God said of Nimrod and those building the Tower of Babel: “Indeed the people are one…now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them” (Gen. 11:6). And in context to the end-time tribulation, Satan will be allowed to achieve “all power, signs, and lying wonders” (2 Thess. 2:9).
Strong’s Concordance says of the Hebrew “he began to be”, as meaning “to profane, defile, pollute, desecrate” “to be Niphal” or Nephilim, followed by “a mighty one in the earth” as meaning “strong, mighty” and a “gibbore” or Gibborim, being defiled in his genealogy.
Let’s remember that God also said, “That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which it may be said, ‘See, this is new’? It has already been in ancient times before us. There is no remembrance of former things, nor will there be any remembrance of things that are to come by those who will come after” (Eccl. 1:9–11). Mankind has come full circle. What fallen angels taught Nimrod and others before and after Noah’s flood, today’s knowledge and technology is teaching mankind.
What Nimrod did is what the mark of the beast will do, and many desire it. It will transform people into superhuman gods, desiring not only immortality, but having superhuman strengths, with the ability to upload to the brain superintelligence, enabling mankind to perform God-like functions. Many desire being an immortal god, which is from Satan. The true, prepared Church, however, resists the mark and flees “into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days” (Rev. 12:6). But, “the dragon was enraged with the woman, [the true Church “worthy to escape all these things” Luke 21:36] and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, [those he can find] who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 12:17).
Technologies are leading man’s quest to be God and to create immortality. The powers of biometrics, AI, robotics and DNA corruption are creating previous impossibilities. Brain and body implant chips administer medications, but also change one’s genetic code to increase intelligence, to resist disease, illness and aging. When Lucifer said, “I will be like the Most High” (Isa. 14:14), he transferred that evil desire to mankind who is working to achieve it.
In the tribulation days and years to come, we will see beings and creatures that are the offspring of god-like creatures; man-beast and man-machine combinations. In fact, the false prophet is “granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed” (Rev. 13:15).
It’s spiritually bankrupt to mock the mark of the beast as having no impact on Christians, because it will. The world will not only want, but demand, this great technology that imparts immortality, superhuman knowledge, strength, vitality and superiority, while Christians will be considered an impediment to it by fundamentally believing God’s Word. Consequently, under influence of the Beast the world will move in violent unison to eradicate all known Christians.
“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36). The rapture will not spare anyone from the tribulation or the mark of the beast, but only living a holy life committed to the testimony of Jesus Christ will lead one to God’s safety and provision for the final 1,260 days of this age. We must know God’s Word and pray for discernment.
