About

Hello, my name is Marlin J. Yoder, a non-denominational ordained minister, and I’ve been writing TheFridayLetter.com for many years. I love the truths of Jesus Christ and teach those truths in whatever venues the Lord provides. Primarily teaching the end-times according to the testimony of Jesus Christ (supported by apostolic writings), I also teach against the traditions of men which make “the word of God of no effect” (Mark 7:13) and basic principles of this world “lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.” (Col. 2:8).

We need to know and apply truth to navigate to eternal life. We need the truth of our origin and the truth of our eternal destiny. While many in this world speak of truth, few are actually guided by the truth because “…the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.” (1 John 5:19), but Christ, the Son of God through whom and by whom all things were created, said, “For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” (John 18:37)

In context to the end of this age Christ said, “But he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matt. 24:13). This requires prayerful and Spirit-led preparation, but since the mid 19th Century nearly all preachers in the Protestant church have taught not to concern ourselves with enduring to the end because Christ would rapture us pre-tribulation. That’s totally false, for Christ said, “Immediately after the tribulation of those days…He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect…” Matthew 24:29-31 Born again believers are Christ’s elect, therefore Christ comes for saints after the tribulation, but very few believe Jesus’ testimony. I want to help you believe the truth and accordingly prepare to faithfully endure to the end.

  1. Mr. Yoder. I just read your book on the rapture. Turns out I had believed a lie for the better part of my life. I don’t blame anyone but myself – had I actually studied it for myself instead of believing what I was told i would have learned this long ago. It is abundantly clear in the scriptures. How are people missing this? I have been reading your letters every Friday and I wanted to thank you because of you…me and my family are a little better prepared than we would have been and I am spreading the word to all of my Christian friends who are expecting to be raptured out of here before the tribulation. Anyway, I just wanted to say “thank you” and also, God bless you Mr. Yoder. I’m planning on seeing you on the other side sir. I look forward to the talks we will have!! Your sister in Christ, Brandell
