Pope Francis has struck again! Since his conclave election to the papacy in March 2013, Pope Francis busied himself falsely uniting people, various religions, cultures and societies under the deceptive guise of universal love and peace. First, be reminded of this 06/08/2014 headline from The New York Times: “At Vatican, Day of Prayer With Focus on Uniting” here.
Then, following that ungodly prayer meeting at the Vatican, in June 2015 Pope Francis signed a treaty “with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas” recognizing Palestinian statehood which justifiably angered Israeli officials, link here.
Now, last month, Pope Francis co-signed a document calling for the unity of world religions. That should strike a note of alarm when we consider the counterfeit godliness of the person of the Antichrist from 2 Thess. 2:1–12 and Rev.13:1–10. I encourage you to read each of the seven links provided below to see the global impact this Antichrist peace covenant has made.
First, from Dhaka Tribune, this 02/05/2019 headline: “Pope Francis, Grand Imam of Egypt kiss, call for world peace”, link here. This article says, “al-Azhar and the Vatican will work together to battle extremism”, which is code for saying that they’ll both battle against true Christianity!
And from The Guardian, this 02/04/2019 headline: “Pope and grand imam sign historic pledge of fraternity in UAE”, link here. The official “document” states in part: “We resolutely declare that religions must never incite war, hateful attitudes, hostility and extremism, nor must they incite violence or the shedding of blood”. Yet, those are the historical facts of the Vatican and Islam!
And from the Catholic News Agency, this 02/04/2019 headline: “Pope Francis signs peace declaration on ‘Human Fraternity’ with Grand Imam” link here. Yet, despite all this unifying hubris, “The Second Vatican Council taught further that ‘the fullness of the means of salvation can be obtained’ through the ‘Catholic Church alone’”, making excluded and hopeless all others.
And from Technocracy News and Trends, this 02/11/2019 headline “One World Religion: Pope Francis Signs Historic Covenant With Islam” link here. “In essence, this [covenant] is saying that it is the will of God that there are hundreds of different religions in the world and that they are all acceptable in His sight.” But the truth is that Jesus is the ONLY way, truth and life to the Father.
And from UPI, this 02/04/2019 headline “Pope, grand imam sign historic declaration of peace”, link here. In part, this article says, “Pope Francis said he appreciates ‘the opportunity to come here as a believer for peace … We are here to desire peace, we are here to promote peace, to be instruments of peace.’” But Pope Francis’ peace plan will lead to unprecedented global wars.
And from Prophecy In The News, this 02/15/2019 headline: “Pope Francis, Leading Imam Sign Covenant Pushing One-World Religion”, link here. “Over and over again, the word “God” is used to simultaneously identify Allah and the God of Christianity”, which is a faithless lie.
And from Charisma News, this 02/13/2019 headline, “After Signing One-World Religion Covenant, Pope Francis Makes His Next Push”, link here. Indeed, we await his next move.
There is no greater proof that Pope Francis is indeed anti-Christ, just like his predecessors, who all call themselves the Vicar of Christ, meaning in place of Christ, claiming to be God’s earthly representatives in all matters of Christian faith. Pope Francis, however, has pushed the envelope far beyond that of his predecessors by uniting unbelievers and forging ungodly alliances with other religions as though Christians, Muslims and Orthodox Jews all serve the same God.
The God of the true Christian is Jesus Christ and none other! Muslims, Orthodox Jews and any other religions of this world do NOT serve the same God as Christians, regardless of pastors like Rick Warren, Kenneth Copeland and many others saying otherwise! And here’s why: “for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). And Jesus Christ boldly said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). And any true ambassador of God and of His Christ will unashamedly testify likewise. Anyone who tries to enter God’s Kingdom by any other means is a fraud, a thief, a liar, and a robber. And the Holy Spirit also warned, saying that, “he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36). That’s vital truth!
The world just took a big step toward the revelation of Antichrist. Remember the warning of the Holy Spirit: “The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved” (2 Thess. 2:9–10). Do not be one of those swept to perdition by the deceptions of Pope Francis or any of his proponents. Do not be wooed by the beguiling and crafty tongues of deceit that speak of world unity and peace: “For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’ then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape” (1 Thess. 5:3). Amen!
Next month, in April, Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law, Orthodox Jew, and Chief White House Advisor, will be rolling out his own “peace plan” for Israel which he has worked on and prepared since President Trump’s inauguration. End-time events now escalate rapidly, and it’s imperative that we know God’s Word for these perilous times, and then live by the power of the Holy Spirit, because the days are growing darker with each passing month.
It is possible that Jared Kushner and Pope Francis will work together toward creating a seven-year “covenant with many” and Israel in an end of day’s prophetic attempt at world peace and unity. Of course, if such a seven-year peace is created, it will be the fulfillment of Dan. 9:27a. The student of biblical end-time prophecy knows that the Dan. 9:27a “covenant with many” is synonymous with the building of Israel’s third temple and very likely start of the tribulation, of which I have written extensively beforehand. It will be interesting to watch the development of all these things. And as we watch, let’s hold fast to true faith in Jesus Christ, and not be moved from the Rock of our Salvation. Amen!
