From millennia past, the powerful, wealthy, elite ruling class have set this world on a course of destruction. They pursue the arrogant and unrepentant course of the human heart identified by God according to His prophetic Word at Psa. 2:1–3, whose dark forces now bring this world to the end of this age. Wars, pestilence, famines, national dissolution, climate change, immorality, and global anti-Christian agenda, together with unprecedented economic loss, will all multiply.
There’s a small segment of Christians who realize perilous end-times have arrived. But there’s a much larger arena of unbelievers who recognize the same, though not because of faith in Christ. Even some elected officials say the world will end in 10 to 12 years. In my weekly Bible studies and research of Christian, mainstream and alt media, there’s the sense that the world is truly on the brink of collapse, and that observation, belief and assessment is not without biblical merit.
And with the coronavirus expanding globally, it’s sending shock waves through global markets. As of last evening the Dow Jones Industrial Averages plummeted 3,453 points since closing last Friday, February 21, 2020. Combine that with the warning from the CDC to prepare with food, water and medical supplies to endure this indeterminate pandemic, but how many will heed the warning? Globally, tens of millions are quarantined, and it can easily happen here in the U.S.!
Notably, Christian, conservative and alt media platforms are being silenced and black-listed by media giants such as the MSM, Google, Youtube, Facebook and Twitter. If messages don’t fit the liberal Left’s agenda, accounts can and are being silenced and banned. Many people also see their financial positions threatened. This is creating the rush to gold and silver to protect against economic losses, but those losses will indeed come.
Modernity offers ways to hedge against monetary losses. Many secular and Christian media outlets promote the purchase of physical gold and silver. One commentator said: “If you can’t touch it, you don’t own it”, the rationale being that money in banks, CD’s, savings or Wall Street investments could disappear overnight. Responding to failing global currencies, the ruling class is creating a transitional cashless society. Are you prepared?
Enter now God’s Word. At the middle of the tribulation, Matt. 24:15, currencies, including that of the One World Order, will be 100 percent worthless. Why? Because God said that Antichrist “causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Rev. 13:16–17). [Bold emphasis mine] Given the signs of the times, that should get the attention of every Christian, but unfortunately it gets very little attention as the pre-tribulation rapture deception leads away from “the truth”.
Nations are already implementing alternative monetary systems that safeguard against money laundering, ID and credit card theft. And the ruling elite have not only the power, but also the resources to get this done. In America, it all began with the 1936 Social Security Number, a way of tracking every person. Then of course, one’s SSN is now attached to one’s checking, savings, and credit card numbers, and the tracking continues. Purchases made by world citizens is being profiled and stored in giant IT data centers. Whether you realize it or not, this is occurring under the guise of your protection, but it will lead to and create the 666 “mark of the beast” system.
As technology advances under the guise of normal necessity, in the first 3 1/2 years of the final seven, many people will integrate with artificial intelligence, biometric implant chips, robotics and more, resulting in, at Antichrist’s order, the mid-trib prerequisite mark in the right hand or forehead for the required buying or selling anything. Currencies, and even gold and silver will become totally worthless. And when that occurs God wants His elect saints to find His shelter and provision for the last 3 1/2 years of great tribulation, so as to be out of Satan’s reach, and from that of his Antichrist, see Rev. 12:13–17.
God even warned that gold and silver will become worthless: “Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days” (James 5:1–3).
Current national debt levels of the dollar, the pound, the yuan, the euro, the ruble, and the yen, among many others, are both unsustainable and irreversible. The world needs a financial savior, which will come through the New World Oder, the One World Government. And its fiscal repair will be based on gold and silver, the only instrument of real monetary value. Consequently, there will be a transitional period from present-day currencies to the new, and for that we should be prepared. To ignore this crucial time would be like Joseph ignoring his dream of the famine.
While it is prudent and an act of faith in Christ and His Word to provide for our families, which might mean a modest amount of gold or silver to be used prior to the great tribulation during the transition from the current monetary exchange to that of the new, we should never hoard gold or silver. Be Spirit-led, discerning, judging the time, using sound reason. Our treasure is in heaven.
We who believe Christ do not hoard treasures of gold and silver as our safety net. We must be a prepared people who “pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass” (Luke 21:36), being the “freewoman” of Gal. 4:21–31, when “the woman [the prepared Church] fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days” (Rev. 12:6).
This requires building our spiritual house on the solid Rock of Christ, and never the sinking sands of false hope, traditions of men, and teachings that lead away from Jesus’ testimony, see Matt. 7:24–27. And when that unprecedented time arrives, those whose belief is in the pre-trib rapture tradition of men, not having prepared to find the safety and provision of God, will bring tragedy upon themselves as Antichrist hunts down every Christian. As Jesus said “unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened” (Matt. 24:22).
