“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” (2 Tim. 3:1–5), [my emphasis added], a prophecy identifying our “woke” anti-Christ culture. We who are discerning of God’s prophetic end-time Word and signs, on a national and global scale, we see the sweeping rejection of truth.
Even in the so-called Christian church, survey after survey reveals that many believers no longer believe, but reject the truth; even the fundamental truth that Jesus Christ is the only way to God, even though Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). Why? Because many church leaders fear people and the culture more than God; desiring the praise of man they speak what people and the culture wants to hear. And as a result the truths of the Gospel are lost which produces the end-time fruits of 2 Tim. 3:1–5. Truth is rejected by governments and culture and many churches follow suit, exchanging it for deception, 2 Thess. 2:9–10, yet another sign of “the last days”. People of true saving faith in Christ must heed closely the Words of the Holy Spirit that conclude 2 Tim. 3:1–5, which commands every believer saying, “And from such people turn away!”
Our nation and world is descending into an end-time abyss due to the rejection of truth. Not to exploit tragedy but to provide a visual of where America is today as a result of having rewritten the definitions of truth, love and justice; from DailyMail.com, look at the deplorable conditions plaguing many American cities. The Biden administration rejects the need of closing America’s Southern Border even though it’s overrun with human trafficking, and hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants and deadly illegal fentanyl drugs that are killing Americans every single day!
Do not think that these conditions will get better before the Lord Jesus returns for His elect, because they won’t. This is what the elite and globalists want, not only for America but for all nations under the sun. On a much larger scale their death and destruction is taking form via wars, pestilences (diseases), vaccines, and mandates that run counter to everything we know to be true. With America’s leadership shutting out God and His authority, the degradation now falling upon this nation is not surprising. In unrepentant sin, lawlessness at the highest government levels, the revisionist lies of CRT, the proud LGBTQ, and race-baited hatreds of BLM agendas that the US has sown, to that end she will also reap. God cannot be mocked. And as the culture goes, so too, largely, the organized church. We must expect and prepare for much worse as the fourth beast-kingdom of Dan. 2:40 and 7:7 increases its deceptively normalized death knell upon the world.
We must guard against these end-time evils. Here’s how: “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty…A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked” (Psa. 91:1, 7–8). [My bold emphasis added]
