Dear friends, we live in an increasingly angry, dangerous and violent world. None of us knows when or where the next tragic act of mass casualty will erupt. None of us knows when our own lives may be taken by random acts of violence. So, it’s vital that we know we’re ready to meet the Lord and stand in His judgment, 2 Cor. 5:10, having been faithful and kept ourselves in the love of God, Jude 1:20–21, being fruitful, John 15:2, to the very end. In carrying out our great commission, Matt. 28:19–20, many subtle and overt evils want to draw us away from fulfilling our mission, like “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life” (1 John 2:16).
As every person of truth can attest, there’s been a global rise in rebellion, lawlessness, anarchy and violence against humanity. While mass casualty events have become commonplace, there’s also a rage against mankind that’s turning children against parents, Mark 13:12, or all figures of authority, and parents against government authorities as love, trust and respect for authority has been replaced with mistrust and anger because authority figures today have more often than not proven that they are not to be trusted, nor do they have the people’s best interest at heart and in mind. This rebellion has risen due to corrupt government leaders and has infected all of society.
In just the last three and a half years corrupt government leaders have spawned multiple wars, and they won’t be content until they instigate WWIII. It’s very near now. They’re war mongers under authority of Satan. They’re no longer quiet about their evil intentions, but openly flaunt them. They glorify laws defending abominations of the LGBTQ+ agendas. They’re also being exposed for lying to people about COVID-19 and its deadly harmful vaccines. They warn we the people of mis and dis-information while they are leaders of mis and dis-information propaganda. And the corrupt media is in the pockets of governments. Thus the populace is infected with lies.
Satan, the thief and father of lies seeks only “to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10). And we must know that he, Satan, is masterful at wearing down the believers’ faith with many kinds of cares, pleasures and troubles this world has to offer. His aim to steal, kill and destroy is intended for each of us personally, for our spouse, our children and extended families. Thus, it’s imperative that we daily offer sincere prayer for one another that we have the spiritual strength to discern and endure the onslaught of Satan’s temptations. But sadly, much evil entered organized churches because many in leadership can no longer discern between the works of God and Satan.
Therefore, in this regard I ask you, “To whom do you give ear?”, because “God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds” (Heb. 1:1–2). The Son of God and His Holy Spirit are who we should be listening to, not popular, earthly-minded ministers and pastors who deny or silence select portions of God’s word, especially His end-time word which heavily saturates many Books of the Bible, especially the Book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ. But most preachers teach little to nothing of the end.
“Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away” (Heb. 2:1). So, I kindly ask each of us, “What are the things we’ve heard?” Do we hear things of this world, or do we hear the solemn warnings and teachings of God and His Christ for the times of the end? If we hear the former “we drift away” from God and His Christ. If the latter, then we prepare in His word to endure through the chaos, anger, hatred and violence increasingly coming upon this world as God’s restraint on evil is increasingly being withdrawn, which is why we see the world plunging headlong into increasing rebellion against God and hatred of one another.
The only source of absolute truth is the “it is written” word of God in Christ. But the organized church has entered a very dangerous time when deceived people would rather hear ear-tickling messages by men and women who promise better days for this world are just ahead. They warn nothing of the time of the end, ignoring it because they have no Spirit-led discernment that tells them the end is near. In that vacuum of knowledge and truth, spurred on by their false tradition of the pre-trib rapture lie, most pastors are ill-equipped to prepare their flock in any meaningful way that accords with the end-time testimony of Jesus Christ…because they don’t believe it!
Our hope of salvation is true faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ and then living by His word, not the word(s) of mere men who speak earthly notions desiring the praise of man. God’s Spirit said, “Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; but exhort one another daily, while it is called ‘Today,’ lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. [Especially note] For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end” (Heb. 3:12–14). [My emphasis] If we don’t hold to God’s word, we stand little to no chance of enduring “steadfast to the end”.
Most people in the organized church have not been taught to read and study the “it is written” testimony of God in Christ, nor are they taught that they must endure to the end, but are taught instead to trust their pastors and teachers who are trained and equipped in the traditions of men “making the word of God of no account” (Mark 7:13). This is also why evils of the LGBTQ+, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and social justice issues have infected the churches and general populations of nations. From ancient Moses in the Old Testament to The Revelation of Jesus Christ in the New Testament, the “it is written” God’s word warns of these end-times.
