Don’t assume anything! Especially don’t assume that America’s slide to perdition is now in remission with the political defeat of the Biden/Harris regime. What we have before us now is simply another short reprieve. That is IF President-elect Donald Trump actually makes it to the January 20, 2025 inauguration. Much can go terribly wrong in the next forty-five days given the fact that the deep state and its radical Left agents supported by crooked Democrat politicians and the deeply biased and lying corporate media together with the weaponized DOJ, FBI and CIA, could declare martial law in order to stop their evil agenda from being dismantled by Trump.
Note how quickly things can change on the political and national front. Fox News reported this week that “South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol declared martial law on Tuesday, accusing the opposition of ‘anti-state’ activity.” Consider, though Yeol’s edict was short-lived, it’s within the law and power of a president to declare martial law if he or she deems it justified. Joe Biden is still the US president and will be for the next forty-five days. That’s unsettling. Is it beyond reason that he too could declare martial law, indefinitely, if his anti-America handlers accused the incoming Trump administration of anti-state or anti-security activity? No, I don’t think so!
For Christians, conservatives and patriots it would be understandable to breathe a collective sigh of relief and even bask in a sense of euphoria over the landslide victory of President-elect Donald Trump as he puts together an impressive talented cabinet of appointees to reverse the destructive course of America. But I encourage you to understand that President Donald Trump is not going to fix what’s wrong with America. No doubt he will make efforts to reform America and reverse the destructive course created by the Obama/Biden and Biden/Harris regimes, but unbelievers of this world and nations will not grow better, but only much worse just as the Scriptures reveal.
God said, “But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!” (2 Tim. 3:1–5); and also “evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived” (2 Tim. 3:13); and “the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables” (2 Tim. 4:3–4). We’re there!
Remember, in this age evil and wickedness win. If you need proof of that read the Revelation of Jesus Christ together with hundreds of other prophetic end-of-this-world Scriptures. Anyone that tells you this world will grow better is lying to you. World War 3 is near, in fact, some say it has already begun! Global famine is still coming. Global economic collapse is still coming. Global digital currency is still coming. Global tracking and tracing of everyone is still coming. A global one world religion is still coming! The Seal Judgments are still coming. The Trumpet Judgments are still coming. The Bowl Judgments are coming. And the resurrection rapture is coming “at the last day” (John 6:40, 44), but “We shall not all sleep, [meaning to have died] but we shall all be changed—in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. [the seventh trumpet of Rev. 11:15–19] For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Cor. 15:51–52), when “the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord” (1 Thess. 4:16–17).
And “Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, [the resurrection rapture] we ask you … Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” (2 Thess. 2:1–4). That we must be vigilant and prepared to discern and endure those terrible days ahead is elementary, yet profoundly wise and agrees with God’s word saying “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36). Don’t miss the truth that believers “gathering together to Him”, to Christ, occurs at the resurrection rapture, and that “that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin [Antichrist] is revealed”. Clearly, those two events must occur before the resurrection rapture which destroys Dispensationalism’s imminent pre-trib rapture. But believers must decide who they will or won’t believe: God or traditions of men.
Christ’s first advent occurred about 2,000 years ago. And God’s word makes it very clear that “To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation” (Heb. 9:28). Do you eagerly wait for Him? I do! Christ does not come 2, 3 or more times as the pre-trib rapture narrative would have you believe, yet millions of believers take the word of false theologians, pastors and Bible teachers who’ve duped the unsuspecting to exchange the word of God in Christ for their own pie-in-the-sky promises. And those false promises are going to cause tremendous offense and a great “falling away” (2 Thess. 2:3). Our Lord warned us of this saying of the tribulation, “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another” (Matt. 24:10). We must believe and prepare in the word of God rather than man. That’s easier said than done because God and His Christ are unseen while men are seen.
That we believers must be vigilant, discerning and watchful is our mandate from Jesus Christ. The end of this present age and the resurrection rapture must not be sugar-coated with wishful thinking which is what the pre-trib rapture has sown; an unbiblical, ear-tickling, easier way of getting to heaven than the difficult way our Lord taught at Matt. 7:13–14. That deception will devastate millions when Antichrist and his seven-year tribulation are soon revealed. We can’t afford to be lulled into spiritual complacency just because Trump won the 2024 election. It’s important to realize that with all the division that’s been sown by the radical Left, not just in the US but also abroad, circumstances and conditions can change on a dime. Just ask any suffering the effects of governmental change, natural disasters, social unrest, lawlessness, famines, wars, pestilences, etc., and then factor in the things yet to come by The Revelation of Jesus Christ.
My new book “ON EAGLES’ WINGS” was written with much Bible study and prayer and reveals many truths in preparing unbelievers and believers alike for the 7-year tribulation and finding God’s safety and provision for the last 1,260 days of “great tribulation” (Matt. 24:21).
