The beast-system snare has been exploiting human technology for its own wicked end-time agendas. It began in earnest in the late 19th Century with numerous inventions. (Source) This exploitation increased in the early 20th Century. (Source) And by 1914 countries devolved into WWI killing about 40 million people. (Source) Then, with ever-increasing exploited technology, 25 years later WWII killed another 70–85 million. (Source) And as knowledge and technology continued increasing since WWII, continual war rages into the 21st Century and the world now braces for WW3. That horror is fulfilling prophecy. Jesus said “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet” (Matt. 24:6). And the Spirit said to the prophet, “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase” (Dan. 12:4). [My emphasis] Ours is the last generation of this age as Satan’s beast-system snare tightens its noose around humanity. Do you understand where this is headed?
With every new technology people around the world can’t wait to get the latest upgrade. Thus, most are enjoying gadgets and devices that make life easier, better and more convenient, or so propagandists of knowledge and technology suggest. It’s undisputed that the majority of people want upgrades with new devices. Televisions were first black and white, but when color came on the scene, demand exceeded supply. When the first mobile bag or car phones hit the market with those little pigtail antenna, the rush to get that latest convenience was only surpassed by the personal flip phone, not to mention the surge in computers. Yet, with all these conveniences and upgrades there’s more hatred, disunity, crime, brokenness and more than in our human history.
The soon outdated flip phone gave way to the iPhone with its never-ending “upgrades” from 3G, 4G, 5, to the latest iPhone 16e released February 19, 2025. And for those living in urban or semi-urban areas, you live within one mile of a cell phone tower, many of which are poorly disguised as indigenous trees to the area. Today 98 percent of Americans own “a cell phone of some kind”. The march toward upgrades as this link shows is a tireless trend that draws billions of people into its preplanned dependency. Sales propagandists by the beast-system snare drives upgrades and creates a global mass enslavement of humanity. In that enslavement nobody wants to be left behind from enjoying the new and better conveniences afforded by technologies. Yet, with all this increase of knowledge and technology, injustice, evils and lawlessness widely increase.
The relentless development of technology and the desire for it by the masses is part of Satan’s end-time beast-system to ravage humanity in the coming tribulation. In the same way the world persuaded the masses that it needs the next tech upgrade in order to enjoy life, so too the beast-system is drawing people to itself to be upgraded in order to not be left behind. Above we only explored several upgrades of high technology, but in the sciences, biology, DNA, robotics, AI and more, all are combining to upgrade people made in the image of God, and Satan’s beast-system will persuade the majority to take the eventual final and ultimate upgrade of the mark of the beast. Those who reject the mark will be outdated, unacceptable and intolerable to those who took the mark of the beast to be upgraded. Unless you live as a hermit you know Satan’s beast-system is moving toward upgrading humans, no different from original sin persuading mankind to believe that “you will be like God” (Gen. 3:5). This has now come full circle, Eccl. 1:9–11.
The societal mindset is pre-conditioned to covet the next and best upgrade of new technology. Believers and unbelievers alike are participants. Are there any believers you know that don’t have and use iPhones, computers, GPS, language models, etc.? Hardly. Even Mennonites who are very conservative use these things. The tech beast-system has enticed the whole world with its upgrade offerings, but it’s only those of true faith in Christ, biblical and spiritual knowledge, training, discernment and conviction who hear what the Spirit says and will by that indwelling Holy Spirit be divinely guarded against and oppose the acceptance of any suggested upgrade to themselves as human beings. But those who resist the upgrade will be left behind, in the dustbin of old-world antiquated ways, disallowed from buying and selling in those final 1,260 days.
And who wants to be left behind? Who doesn’t want the brain and speed of an iPhone or latest computer? Who would not want an upgrade of strength and longevity powered by AI and robot combination? Enter the Technological Singularity. This tech will upgrade humans to be super-humans with the eventual promise that “you will be like God”. Who would resist that? Nearly nobody! But there are those who will quickly reject any such upgrade because we know we’re made in the image of God and can never be like God. Only we who prepared for the end-times by new birth faith in Christ will reject such upgrades, no matter the temptation “to be like God”. But unbelievers will have no spiritual restraint for resistance to the beast-system as this would just be the next step in the evolution of them being like God. And as for deceived believers who retain their belief in the pre-trib rapture, well, they would likely say something like, “Being that we were promised by our pastors that we’d be raptured pre-tribulation this can’t be Antichrist or his doing, because we’re still here, the rapture hasn’t occurred. This is normal progress, nothing to be concerned about here. Our pastors said if we see Antichrist then we missed the rapture!”
“In the world of artificial intelligence, the idea of ‘singularity’ looms large. This slippery concept describes the moment AI exceeds beyond human control and rapidly transforms society. The tricky thing about AI singularity (and why it borrows terminology from black hole physics) is that it’s enormously difficult to predict where it begins and nearly impossible to know what’s beyond this technological ‘event horizon.’” (Source) By Technological Singularity, humanity is playing with eternal death, motivating the masses into eternal damnation in the lake of fire, but being unbelievers, its developers and architects are clueless about their creation. Satan is their god who inspires them. And when presented with the truth of the Creator God of the Bible, it’s foolishness to them, 1 Cor. 2:14. They will die in their sins because their foolish hearts were darkened, Rom. 1:21. Only through humility, confession and repentance of grace through faith can they, or anyone, even those in churches, be saved from the eternal judgment to soon come.
I warn everyone: based upon the inerrant word of God, there will be many believers in name only who will join the world and accept the Singularity upgrade and in so doing change their DNA which is the point of no return; salvation will be impossible, their fate sealed in the lake of fire forever and ever, Rev. 19:20. The unbelieving world will accept the beast-system’s mandate to upgrade themselves via the Singularity, to take “the mark of the beast”, or otherwise they will be killed under order of the “image of the beast” (Rev. 13:15). And from the unbelieving world’s perspective, “Who would be so ignorant as to resist becoming super-human via the Singularity, and in that process eliminate sickness and aging and live forever to be like God?” Those who reject the Singularity will immediately become outcasts, fit only to be rounded up and killed.
“Futurist Ray Kurzweil likes to make predictions about technology. He’s been making them since 1963 and has amassed a following in the millions. In his 2005 book The Singularity Is Near, Kurzweil predicted that by 2045, machines would become as smart as humans. Due to advancing technology, he’s moved the expected arrival date up to as soon as 2029.” [My emphasis] (Source) Kurzweil’s “expected arrival date up to as soon as 2029” is about the date and onset of the great tribulation when the mark of the beast will become mandatory! Things aren’t happening by chance, but by God’s prophetic decree to bring about the end pf this age according to the “it is written” word and testimony of God in Christ. In the near term of years, the gray area between believers and unbelievers, both inside and outside the church, will fade, being replaced by stark black and white, either being born again by grace through true faith in Christ, or not; either holding to the “it is written” word and truth of God in Christ, or not. That middle ground of being a Christian in name only will be wiped out. Now is the time to prepare and not when the beast-system snare is upon humanity in a crisis mode of life or death.
