Politics of every party in every country defraud and deceive the people they allege to serve. And do not think that the US is the exception to that truth, because America is as guilty as any nation under the sun of deceiving and defrauding its people. The problem is and always has been that all politicians love their seats of power, money, influence and control. Surely you’ve noticed that we as a nation just keep going in endless circles of so-called liberal, conservative, socialist, Christian and anti-Christian politically motivated societal fighting with a steady slide to the radical left and its ungodly ideologies, absolutely unable of healing anything. There’s a very real reason for that politically corrupt reality and God answered it thousands of years ago. Hear the truth of politics.
“Why do the nations rage, and the people plot a vain thing? The kings [presidents] of the earth set themselves, and the rulers [politicians] take counsel together, against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying, ‘Let us break Their bonds [the rule of God] in pieces and cast away Their cords [righteous restraint] from us.’ He [God] who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision. Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep displeasure: ‘Yet I have set My King [Jesus Christ] on My holy hill of Zion’” (Psa. 2:1–6).
Many Congress and Senate politicians remain in their cushy offices for life because they become beneficiaries of an endless stream of corrupt cash, power and control. Oh, during their campaign seasons they will tell the public exactly what they want to hear, whether they’re liberal, socialist, conservative, Christian, or atheist, but once they attain office and get a taste of the cash-cow into which they’ve become beneficiaries by association, they suddenly have amnesia of all campaign promises. How else do you think America has openly murdered human babies the past 50 years! Tens of millions of innocent babies slaughtered in the name of money-lust, power and control! America is no different than vicious, sadistic, hardened, pagan and warring nations who taught ancient Israel to offer their infant children to the god Molech. If the governing laws of any land murders its innocent and most vulnerable, it openly invites the judgments and wrath of God.
Indeed, the Holy Spirit said “These six things the LORD hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren” (Prov. 6:16–19). My prayer is that professing Christians are awaking to the reality that we live in a nation as corrupt and vicious as any other. Our lawgivers are a proud brood that continue funding abortions and foreign wars with American taxpayers’ money where we have absolutely no business whatsoever, but to keep the military industrial complex fed with a revolving door of endless cash for feeding its insatiable appetite, politicians continue funding abominations that maim and kill not only adults but also innocent civilians, children and infants.
Further subverting our nation, politicians yield to the unelected mega-donors and billionaires of every political stripe who hold a very massive sway over elected politicians. Billionaires like Bill Gates, Michael Bloomberg, George Soros, Charles and David Koch, Stephen Schwarzman and many others hold powerful sway over their candidates of choice who will listen to their dictates being motivated by their big money. So, ultimately, it has nothing to do with the will of we the people, but far more aptly the will, power and deep pockets of the mega-donors who lord their money over their chosen candidates because their money talks and their candidates listen.
And once in office those elected officials bought and paid for by billionaire mega-donors don’t forget who funded their efforts of getting to their unique positions of power, prestige, influence and control. And that wicked love of money and power continues every election cycle while we the people are told that our votes really matter. But do they, really? What is really in play here is that whoever can outspend his political opponent legally or illegally wins the Election Day vote. The alleged patriotic but fake will of we the people is but a way of shutting down public dissent.
Regarding any political, religious and social evils, these are all synonymous variations of evil Babylon for which God said, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues” (Rev. 18:4). Elsewhere the Spirit said “Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? Therefore ‘Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you’” (2 Cor. 6:14–15, 17). Amen!
Now, I realize that according to media reports there are members of Congress, including both Democrats and Republicans, who are making their exit from Congress and will not be seeking re-election in 2024. In my heart I pray that these politicians are leaving their stations as a result of their personal faith in Christ, to be far away from anti-Christ partisan politics to avoid the utter mayhem certain to engulf the 2024 presidential election. Yes, 2024 will prove to be catastrophic.
Politicians do not work to serve the people they claim to serve. They serve only themselves and their special interests. This truth was irrefutably revealed by the manufactured COVID-19 scam. “The COVID era was a trial run for communism in this country and we failed. We complied like sheep. And now that we KNOW better, we are still complacent and have not bucked that system in the slightest.” (Source: Tomi Lauren, December 4, 2023) She continued saying, “What makes you think they won’t do this again? Whether it be COVID or climate change or whatever other made-up BS religion these people invent to scare us and then control us.” Wake up believers!
For we who are truly in Christ, we have not only a tremendous hope but promise from God that He will safely lead us to His place of safety and provision during the time Jesus called the “great tribulation” (Matt. 24:21), which are the last 1,260 days of this age right before the Lord returns. But in order for us to find that provision, we must be living watchful and prepared in holiness to the Lord God, not entangled in the politically defrauding deceits and lies of any earthly warring governments. And from that place of safety, (and it will not be a pre-trib rapture) “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked” (Psa. 91:7–8). Hallelujah!
When will political evils end? Only when the Lord descends at the resurrection rapture. “Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God” (Rev. 19:15). I encourage you to get my new book “ON EAGLES’ WINGS”.
