Even the unsaved will equip their children in all available academic truths and knowledge that they achieve their end-game career goals. Committed loving Christian parents will add to those values all available biblical truths and knowledge that their children are equipped in truths and knowledge of God’s Word, not willing that any fail in endurance, but attain to eternal life.
Committed teachers or professors are not willing that any fail from knowing whole truth; nor are committed Christian leaders willing that any should fail in the whole truth of God’s Word. One’s commitment for conveying whole truth comes from God Himself who, “is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9).
Herein, committed Christian pastors, teachers, parents and all who truly love Christ, abandon denominational biases and traditions that restrict whole truth regarding the final generation of this present age and teach Jesus’ parable of “the fig tree” (Matt. 24:32–35) with all associated end-time ramifications, teaching all available, “testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 1:9).
Those who ignore teaching, “the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 1:9) for the end-times withhold whole truth, forcing those in their care to ignorantly face apocalyptic events described by God’s Word. Consequently, those not prepared in whole truth will be highly susceptible to offense, resulting in the God-promised great falling away of Matt. 24:10 and 2 Thess. 2:3.
Thus, it is imperative that full disclosure of God’s truth is provided to all those in our charge, that all should be equipped in all truth and prepared to endure all things to the end of the age.
Many who say they love Jesus teach repentance and salvation, but then ignore whole truth that Christ gathers His elect, “Immediately after the tribulation” (Matt. 24:29–31) and that, “he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matt. 24:13). But why a half-truth; is one only half saved?
Committed Christians must follow the principle God gave, saying, “And these words which I command you shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up” (Deut. 6:6–7). Daily teaching plants the Word of truth deeply into the heart.
Whole truth vs half-truth is an issue of eternal life or death, see Matt. 25:1–13. Whole truth equips to faithfully endure to the end. Every Christian should be deeply concerned that in the end-times, “many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate” (Matt. 24:10), and that before, “our gathering together to Him…the falling away comes first” (2 Thess. 2:1–3).
Do you believe that God is, “not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9); that God, “desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Tim. 2:4)? Would you excuse a university teaching half-truths, risking academic, or worse, career failure, when you believed you were being taught whole truths? Certainly not.
Suppose you’re a structural engineering student and your collegiate textbooks cover all truths of live, dead and seismic loads, but your professor prefers to accentuate forces associated with live and dead loads, but virtually ignores required factors of seismic design. And you, in good faith following your professor’s example, ignore the same, only to discover that you failed the final exam which demanded knowledge of seismic (earthquake) design. You would be justifiably incensed, angry and offended that your professor had not taught the required seismic values.
How much greater, then, is our obligation before God to teach, instruct and equip those in our charge in the whole truth of the end-time gospel; truths that include the tribulation as revealed by the Son of God? Or do denominational traditions and biases defeat Jesus’ Words? If so, beware, for, “to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin” (James 4:17).
God said, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Tim. 3:16–17). Though God said, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God…” one could believe by the way the majority of the church ignores Christ’s end-time Words, that, NOT “All Scripture…” is inspired by God and is thus easily ignored.
I know that you desire with all your heart that all your family and loved ones are equipped in the knowledge and truths of Christ that all endure faithfully to the end, and that in the worst of times, the last 3 1/2 years of great tribulation, find the safety and provision of God. But that process can only begin by true faith in Christ and believing all, “the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 1:9).
If one does not believe and deeply personalize the teachings of Jesus Christ for the times of the end, he forfeits the grace that could otherwise be his or hers. Chances are high that your pastor or Bible teacher are not teaching and equipping you in the end-time truths of Christ, which means you are really on your own with God, His Word and prayer.
