“If they persecuted Me”

Friday, August 10, 2018

Many Christians in America dismiss end-time persecutions as improbable, thinking America is too special or too great for that, but real persecution is near for which we must be strong in the Lord Jesus who said, “he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matt. 24:13). We’ve all seen our culture’s hostile intolerance of Christian values, but much worse will soon be reality.

From CNSNews.com, 7/26/2018: “Rep. Gohmert: Hate Crime Laws Will Be ‘Used to Persecute Christians’ – At a conference for young conservatives on Wednesday, House Representative Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) said that he knew ‘hate crime legislation … would one day be used to persecute Christians’…‘I knew 10 years ago, when hate crime legislation was being pushed, that it would one day be used to persecute Christians, and that is coming about – U.S. Commission on Civil Rights talks about this hate group, evangelical Christians.’”

Don’t miss the fact that the majority of America’s law-givers identify evangelical Christians as a hate group. That’s because evangelicals teach Biblical truths of sin and righteousness, and Christ promised, that, “If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you” (John 15:20). However, the cost of that is too great for many, and in self-preservation have exchanged the truth for a lie, and have grown cool toward Christ in order to remain in good standing with the intolerant culture.

“In a commentary he wrote on the hate crime law, Gohmert gives an example where someone who shoots a homosexual after hearing a religious leader preach “that homosexuality is wrong and leads to the ultimate destruction of moral society,” it could be argued that “the teaching of the minister/rabbi/imam is what ‘induced’” the shooter to commit the crime.”

While homosexuality in fact destroys moral society, it destroys human reproduction, and it’s approved by much of the church! But it’s Satan’s plan to destroy mankind made in the image of God and to also destroy the true Church. The days of Lot are upon us and many church leaders falsely make the LGBTQ community feel as though they are part of the body of Christ.

And to accommodate the ungodly culture many progressive Christian leaders have created false bridges of unity between Muslims and Christians; Orthodox Jews and Christians, and practicing homosexuals and Christians. But Christ has already built the bridge at the cross and it cannot be improved upon. Christians creating any other bridges notably fear persecution if they were to otherwise stand in solidarity with the unchangeable truths of God’s Word.

Have you noted over the last two decades the number of denominational churches that split over homosexuality? They’re numerous. While “the falling away” (2 Thess. 2:3) has truly begun, with the greater and sudden portion thereof yet to come in the tribulation, many compromised leaders not only approve of homosexuality, but appoint practicing LGBTQ people to the pulpit and other Church offices. But we who believe and honor Christ remember His prophetic Words, saying, “See, I have told you beforehand” (Matt. 24:25).

Rapidly, now, the true Christian is becoming increasingly unacceptable not only in American culture, but the greater global culture. In fact, speaking of our end-time days, Jesus warned that “you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake” (Matt. 24:9). That’s occurring even now.

Now, we must strengthen ourselves in Christ by bringing our will under God’s authority. Eternal life will be ours “if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which was preached to every creature under heaven” (Col.1:23); and by “building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keeping yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life” (Jude 20–22). In this, don’t miss our obligation to bring our will subject to God.

The choice is ours. Just as God created Adam and Eve with a free will, so He created us; and with it the ability to reason together with the gospel of God in Christ, to believe Christ whom God raised from the dead for the eternal life of all who would by faith believe in Him, but “he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36).

Salvation that costs one nothing is the seedbed of mediocrity at best, and contempt at worst. The cross was costly to Christ, and salvation is costly to all His would-be followers. Jesus said “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, [being one’s will] and take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23). Even King David desiring to sacrifice to the Lord God “said to Araunah, ‘No, I will surely buy it from you for a price; nor will I offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God with that which costs me nothing” (2 Sam. 24:24).

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart – these, O God, You will not despise” (Psa. 51:17). More often than not, however, affliction and/or tribulation is required to break human pride and create a contrite heart. And “the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?” (1 Peter 4:17).

Because God wants us to be prepared for coming persecutions and tribulation, He reminds us to “not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy” (1 Peter 4:12–13).

Know that “The Lord tests the righteous” (Psa. 11:5); and “The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the hearts” (Prov. 17:3); and “that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold which perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 1:7).

Be encouraged to exercise your free will toward Christ in true faith to endure to the end. God did not create us with a preset robotic response to His invitation, but desires our worship and faith from our free will brought under the Headship of Christ. That truth will release in us an authentic Holy Spirit-endowed power and praise to worship God no matter the costly price of being His disciple. So, be strong and rejoice in the Lord God and worship Him in spirit and in truth!

“at the time of harvest”

Friday, August 3, 2018

If you’re one of many conflicted by what the Bible says vs Church tradition, I pray that God’s grace and wisdom frees you from that awful condition. If you ask, God can and will help you.

When a qualified teacher teaches any discipline, he teaches all details of it, especially the most difficult, that his subjects not fail in it. Likewise, when a qualified teacher teaches the times of the end, he does so according to the testimony of Jesus. Otherwise, in reality, “when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles” (Matt. 13:21).

The more one reads the Bible with a sincere heart to know Jesus’ truths, the more one realizes the measures the Church has taken to protect the pre-tribulation rapture lie. By silently ignoring the testimony of Jesus, the traditions-honoring Church makes of no effect Jesus’ revealed truths for the tribulation and gathering of saints; for which one may not object, lest he suffer exclusion.

In the parable of the wheat and tares, the wheat being the Lord’s redeemed and the tares the wicked and unbelieving, Jesus said “Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, ‘First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn’” (Matt. 13:30).

When Jesus said “Let both grow together until the harvest”, He establishes the fact that in this age there is only one gathering of all people, unbelievers and believers alike, which occurs “at the time of harvest”. At that time the wicked and righteous are gathered, in that order, at the Jewish Fall Festival of Yom Kippur, at the Last Trumpet of Rosh Hashanah.

Jesus goes on to explain this end-time parable: “The field is the world, the good seeds are the sons of the kingdom, but the tares are the sons of the wicked one…the harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are the angels. Therefore as the tares are gathered and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of this age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend…and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” (Matt. 13:38–43).

Anyone not brainwashed by the pre-trib rapture will immediately notice the gathering order. Jesus said the tares are gathered first, then the wheat. But pre-trib rapture teachers say just the opposite; that the wheat is gathered first, and then the tares. This is also how they destroy Jesus’ Matt. 24:29–31 truths where Jesus said He gathers His elect “Immediately after the tribulation”, but false teachers say He gathers His elect immediately before the tribulation.

We must discern the consequential enormity of Satan’s pre-trib rapture deception; a deception that is the greatest threat to the end-time Church; a deception based on conjecture, assumption and wishful thinking; a deception for which there is not one verse of Scripture; a deception that will create great offense and hatred in fulfillment of Jesus’ warning of the tribulation wherein “many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another” (Matt. 24:10).

False teachers say that Jesus was not talking to the would-be Church when He taught end-time events and the gathering of His elect saints, so, we can ignore those teachings. Lies persuade the non-Spirit led and the non-discerning. But he is a deceiver, who, teaches half-truths by silencing Christ’s post-tribulation resurrection rapture of saints “at the last day” (John 6:40).

It’s foolish to believe only some of Jesus’ teachings but not all of what He taught. I pray you discern this because it’s of the highest priority. Satan has sown the pre-trib rapture lie into the Church to make saints unprepared to “endure to the end” (Matt. 24:13); “at the last day” (John 6:40), “at the last trumpet” (1 Cor. 15:51–52), at “the first resurrection” (Rev. 20:4–6), when “the Lord Himself will descend from heaven” (1 Thess. 4:16), because “He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything” (Acts 3:21 NIV), at the Last Trumpet.

What, then, must be our response to these things but to “Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of this world, and not according to Christ” (Col. 2:8). Jesus and His teachings are the answer to every issue of truth, for Jesus is “the truth” (John 14:6). Additionally, “Let the word of Christ [not men or their traditions] dwell in you richly in all wisdom” (Col. 3:16).

What the Church needs today are qualified and bold men like Christ’s apostles, and John the revelator who was exiled on the island of Patmos “for the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 1:9). The Church doesn’t need men who are afraid, compromised, or honoring traditions rather than defending the testimony of Jesus Christ, because, “from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matt. 11:12).

Don’t mistake “the violent take it by force” as meaning physical violence as one forced against his will which was how the evil popes of Roman Catholicism made false converts. “the violent”, here, means to be gentle but powerfully qualified, full of the Holy Spirit and boldly assertive, to defend and honor God’s Word above the words and traditions of men. A true Christian leader is not traditions-minded, nor does he silence Jesus’ testimony, nor is he culture-accommodating.

Christ returns only once “at the time of harvest” when He will first gather the wicked and unbelieving, casting them out where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. After that He gathers His elect saints, confirming God’s Word that “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked” (Psa. 91:7–8). The knowledge and peace of God be upon you and sustain you to the end as you walk by faith in the testimony of Jesus Christ.

“and prevailing against them”

Friday, July 27, 2018

God said “By the mouth of two or three witnesses the matter shall be established” (Deut. 19:15); and then repeated it for Christians, saying, “By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established” (2 Cor. 13:1). Thus, regarding His truths the first witness is God Himself, followed by one or more of His prophets. But don’t confuse the many false, self-appointed prophets today with the true prophets of God who actually gave us the Word of the Lord.

The prophet Daniel said of the end-times, “I was watching; and the same horn [Antichrist] was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them” (Dan. 7:21). Then the prophet John also said, “It was granted to him [Antichrist] to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation” (Rev. 13:7).

Herein, God, His prophets Daniel and John all agree on the temporal authority of Satan’s man Antichrist prevailing against the saints. That’s not a comforting picture. But God desires a bride, who “has made herself ready” (Rev. 19:7) in word and deed. While the tribulation will do that, none of us looks forward to persecution, but we must prepare in the truth. None of us want to be overcome by Antichrist, yet we must abide in the truths of Jesus our Lord and Savior.

Even now the Christian faith is rapidly losing cultural ground; in fact, it’s increasingly being banned. And though many preachers and teachers have compromised the gospel to appease the culture, the world is against the true Christian, and the spirit of Antichrist is in full destruction mode against the saints, and ultimately “unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s [saint’s] sake those days will be shortened” (Matt. 24:22).

And in the midst of saints losing cultural ground, the compromised church is now entertained with Hollywood-style lights, smokescreens and showmanship that neglects truths of promised tribulation and persecution, exchanging God’s end-time truths to glorify man. Note this highly relevant article: http://www.prophecynewswatch.com/article.cfm?recent_news_id=2413

Another of Satan’s end-time tools is mass illegal immigration enforced by globalists. They create irreconcilable multiculturalism. Christianity and Islam are not compatible. Radical Muslims are committed to the slaughter of Christians. Hatred, violence, protests and murder punctuate open borders. It’s tearing countries apart. Citizens are losing their national security, culture, identity and productivity. U.S. President Donald Trump is trying to reverse illegal immigration and the results are viciously dividing our nation. But much, much worse is on the near horizon.

No nation is immune to Antichrist’s New World Order. In fact God said “authority was given him [Antichrist] over every tribe, tongue, and nation” (Rev. 13:7). And that includes America. Persecution is coming and American Christians will not escape it. At this point Christians are only tolerated, but the day is fast approaching when we will be openly marked for death.

God said of the end: “Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand” (Dan. 12:10). The tribulation will do all of that. Who are the purified, white and refined but they who believe Christ. Who are the wise who understand but they who believe the testimony of our Lord Jesus.

God said of Christ, “though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered” (Heb. 5:8). How much more, then, is suffering required for our own obedience! But preparing for suffering and persecution is rarely taught; in fact, many Christians, due to false teachers, flatly reject the prospect of such things, but therein reject patient endurance.

With that in mind “count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience” (James 1:3). End-time persecution will indeed test the lukewarm church. The difficult path of faith to eternal life will prove or disprove one’s faith.

Remember: from the beginning of Jesus ministry He said the gate of true faith is narrow and its path difficult, “and there are few who find it” (Matt. 7:13–14). But many false prophets, teachers and preachers have made that gate appear wide and its path easy. And quite naturally, if one sets before the people an easy path, they’ll take it. But as for tribulation, persecution, being overcome by Antichrist? False teachers say, “Fear not, you’ll be raptured before those end-time events even begin.” But don’t you believe their lying words! Be bold in the testimony of Jesus Christ!

In this, silence is not golden! True Christians teach and defend the Word of the Lord Jesus to prepare all who have an ear to hear. True Christians who love Christ do not allow doctrines and traditions of men from proclaiming God’s end-time truths. God commanded that “We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29). People who truly love the Lord Jesus love His truths, hold fast to them, teach and preach them, and prepare people to endure steadfastly to the end.

Jesus Christ taught that He gathers His elect saints “Immediately after the [7-year] tribulation” (Matt. 24:29–31); at “the first resurrection” (Rev. 20:4–6); “at the last day” (John 6:40, 44, 54); “at the last trumpet” (1 Cor. 15:51–52); when “the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first” (1 Thess.4:16); because “He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets” (Acts 3:21 NIV).

End-time persecution of Christians has begun in earnest. In America, true Christians are now discriminated against, excluded from employment, and are being sued just because they hold to Christian values, left to suffer devastating legal fees. Transhuman and transgender issues have taken center-stage while Biblical values are publically mocked. Satan’s grand finale end-time persecution of saints unto their destruction is now ramping up. Have you prepared?

Let’s abide in the truth. God said that Antichrist wages war against the saints and prevails during the last 3 1/2 years of great tribulation. Let’s prepare now for that reality. There is an escape, but it’s not the rapture. “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass” (Luke 21:36). Here’s the mid-tribulation escape: “Then the woman [the true Church] fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days” (Rev. 12:6, 14).

“for lack of knowledge”

Friday, July 20, 2018

Jesus said, “For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men…making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do” (Mark 7:8, 13). Thus, man’s traditions oppose the knowledge of God.

It’s natural to grow up believing what we are told to believe. It’s quietly assumed that we can believe our pastor, doctor, teacher, professor, the police, the FDA, the FBI and our government. While that may instill respect for earthly authority, it overlooks the authorities’ self-interest to maintain their religious, educational and societal status quo, be they right or wrong.

The status quo is tradition from which it’s difficult to break free, it’s like a self-made prison. Consider the Pharisee’s of Jesus’ day. Repeatedly they were ready to kill Christ because He excoriated their traditions. But rather than repent they hardened their hearts even more.

Today, the discerning see layers of religious, educational and civil deceptions being exposed. And authorities who once held those powers of leading the masses as they willed, now labor to maintain their traditional status quo…be it increasingly fruitless under the New World Order.

Lesser authorities are being assimilated to stronger authorities, and those stronger authorities are being assimilated to even greater authorities. Do you see where this is going? All authorities are being assimilated under one authority, the coming Antichrist. Thus, nationalism infuriates the authorities of the Deep State who desire globalism ruled by the New World Oder.

Pope Francis, fulfilling the first Seal, Rev. 6:1–2, has assimilated many Christians, Jews and Muslims, as though we all serve the same God. But we do not: Judaism and Islam vehemently reject Christ as Messiah! As a result true Christians are increasingly isolated and will ultimately be singled out for total destruction by the, now present, satanic New World Order.

The time has come when what tradition taught us to believe about the end-times must necessarily be challenged because largely, religious, educational, medical, governmental and civil authorities in this world no longer operate in our best interest, but in the interests of the New World Order.

Note civil examples: just because a label says “FDA Approved” does not mean it’s actually safe for human consumption. Much of our grains are genetically modified and our meats are infused with hormones that make our bodies sick with gastrointestinal problems, acid reflux, high blood pressure, diabetes and more. Then, sick, we go to the doctor who will prescribe medications that only put a band-aid on the illness. It’s a vicious cycle, the food industry makes us sick, and the pharmaceutical companies keep us dependent. Believe it or not, this too is end-times related!

Then there’s the highly popular fallacy that America’s founders were Christians, when in fact, many of them were high ranking Freemasons, members of an occult-based secret society. Take it from one of their own: Manly P. Hall, (1901–1990), a renowned 33rd Degree Freemason, said in his book “The Secret Teachings for All Ages” – “Not only were many of the founders of the United States Government Masons, but they received aid from a secret and august body existing in Europe, which helped them establish this country for a peculiar and particular purpose known only to the initiated few. The Great Seal is the signature of this exalted body – unseen and for the most part unknown – and the unfinished pyramid upon its reverse side is a trestleboard setting forth symbolically the task to the accomplishment of which the United States Government was dedicated from the day of its inception”. And that “task” is steeped in ancient occult mandates.

Additionally, many U.S. presidents were 32nd and 33rd Degree Freemasons. The end-times are now exposing the corruption of elected officials: Republican, Democrat, Independent, Socialist, makes no difference. We now know that Deep State politicians create wars, civil unrest, hatred and violence in their efforts to introduce and maintain the authority of the New World Oder.

Religious deceptions from the antichrist Vatican to the pre-trib rapture and other traditions in most churches reject the knowledge of God, and many are falling away from true faith in Christ Jesus as a result. Many, now believing Preterism, are tired of hearing about the end-times. Forty years ago they thrilled over the “Left Behind” lie, but now say, “So what, it’s time to move on!”

God said “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hos. 4:6). That truth wasn’t just intended for Old Testament Israel, but also for the New Testament “Israel of God” (Gal. 6:16).

Until the post-tribulation rapture, we who believe Christ must be about the Father’s business, telling the truth about Jesus and His redemptive work at Calvary and of His soon return. And in that process we must not fail to share the truth that Jesus gathers His elect “Immediately after the tribulation” (Matt. 24:29–31), to prepare both new and mature Christians to endure to the end, a message the status quo Church of this late hour refuses to disclose to people hungry for truth.

Global violence will increase till Antichrist makes his “covenant with many” (Dan. 9:27), then for 3 1/2 years he brings a quasi-peace in all matters religious, economic, civil, military, health and wealth. But Jesus said to us, “See, I have told you beforehand” (Matt. 24:25). Are you and your loved ones prepared for that time? Do not be deceived by “the working of Satan, with all power, signs and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved” (2 Thess. 2:9–10).

When tribulation “famines, pestilences, and earthquakes” (Matt. 24:7) strike; when “The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard…[and] transgression shall be heavy upon it” (Isa. 24:20) and the mark of the beast goes global, and the violence of Noah’s day visits everywhere, you will not be raptured off the earth but will remain right here to bear witness to the saving power of Christ!

In the midst of that chaos, however, Christ is our strength and our refuge, IF we have believed Christ and have prepared like the five wise virgins…then He will see us safely to the end.

Jesus said “He who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matt. 24:13). Have you in love believed and prepared in Jesus’ knowledge to do that? Will you believe the pre-trib rapture tradition that silences Jesus’ end-time truths as inapplicable to you, or will you believe Jesus Christ? It was God who said “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. Don’t you be one of them.

“He who is not with Me…”

Friday, July 13, 2018

In this world and its known and unknown cosmos, there is only one infallible and unchangeable truth – God’s Word in the Holy Bible; not to be confused with man’s progressive, revisionist versions and liberal commentaries in circulation today. To the eternal praise of God and His Christ, a few in holy fear revere the former but refuse the latter.

“Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar” (Prov. 30:5–6); for, “all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone” (Rev. 21:8). The Spirit also said of God, “You have magnified Your word above all Your name” (Psa. 138:2).

God’s Word, then, being the highest authority, why would a professing Christian pastor, teacher or author, add to, subtract from, undercut or change His Word? Well, the possibilities are many: the deceit of tradition, the deceit of position, the deceit of political correctness, the deceit of culture, the deceit of money, and the deceit of fearing man above God, just to name a few.

When you hear a Christian change God’s Word, you should discern the Serpent’s hiss, saying, “Has God indeed said” (Gen. 3:1)? If we profess to love God through faith in Christ, we must disallow ourselves participation in, or acceptance of, changing any of His Word. If not, we become like many, being wide open to “deceiving and being deceived” (2 Tim. 3:13).

Note the following examples. When the 2007 heretical book by William P. Young, “The Shack” was published, it swept the evangelical church like wildfire. And having read it, I discerned its deceit. My dissension, however, was lost to the many voices who loved the book. But I warned then, and I continue to warn now of Young’s apostasy. Today his deception continues to deceive.

I like a good novel, but when a professing Christian writes an alleged Christian novel depicting both God the Father and the Holy Spirit in the feminine gender, and further purports the unsaved being saved without going through Jesus Christ, he mocks the Godhead and Christ’s work at Calvary! Yet, many in the evangelical church applauded The Shack’s heretical theme.

What’s brought this to the forefront, again, are the apostate views Young continues to sow into the lives of unbelievers, new converts, the biblically ignorant and non-discerning. The 6/26/2018 Christian News headline, says, “’The Shack’ Author Claims Unsaved Can Still Be Reconciled to God After Death”. In his recent book, “Lies We Believe About God”, Young says “people are still given chances to receive Christ’s sacrifice after death”. But that’s a lie, its total heresy!

The one who dies in his sins and unbelief cannot thereafter repent and be saved, for, “it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment” (Heb. 9:27). The gospel according to Young encourages unbelief, to live life as you will, and get saved after death! But Jesus said, “unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3), which occurs before death; and that “If anyone does not abide in Me, [present tense] he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned” (John 15:6).

Why produce apostate teaching? Follow the money! By 2009 The Shack sold over 10 million copies. (Wikipedia). “In July 2010 the Los Angeles Times reported that The Shack had ‘spawned a tangle of lawsuits over royalties and even the book’s authorship. Young claimed that he was owed $8 million in royalties…’ In January 2011 the court was advised that the case was settled or in the process of being settled.” (Wikipedia).

But Young is not alone in teaching apostasy. Rob Bell, another progressive having written a book entitled “Love Wins”, wherein he denies the existence of a literal hell, is also in his camp. Books that promise another way to God, or reject the promise of judgment for sin and unbelief satisfy the natural unbelieving mind of flesh. That’s why such books are #1 best-sellers.

If Young is correct that an unbeliever can be saved after death, then Christ died for nothing. If Bell is correct that there’s no hell, why suffer for Christ? But we who believe the truth know that Christ suffered the cross to save sinners from an eternal hell “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23). Though Jesus taught more about hell than anyone, progressives dislike, even refuse, to talk about sin and hell and that sin and unbelief separates us from God.

Today, many progressive Christians fearlessly change God’s Word to suit themselves and the culture. But in truth, men have been changing God’s Word long before Young and Bell were even born. Many gained license from those in the 19th and 20th centuries who liberally changed God’s Word to advance traditions of man and gain popularity.

If one pays close attention to why best-selling authors change God’s Word, it always satisfies the flesh, it never denies the flesh, nor calls one to live by faith the difficult path Christ promised. False teachers regularly teach people how to get around the difficult things Jesus taught.

There was a time when the Church taught the Lord’s return and the resurrection rapture of saints “Immediately after the tribulation” (Matt. 24:29–31) just as taught by Christ Himself. But today, the large majority of evangelical Christians have been deceived by false teachers who changed God’s Word to say that Christ gathers His elect saints before the tribulation!

Why? Because Christ doesn’t suit them in their tradition. It’s difficult, it doesn’t preach well, so in keeping with dispensationalism’s 19th century liberal changing of God’s Word, church leaders have galvanized the pre-trib rapture lie into the Church while Jesus’ post-trib rapture is silenced.

There was also a time when the Church obeyed God’s Word and disallowed women from offices of authority and teaching. They believed God who said, “I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression” (1 Tim. 2:12–14). But today the leaders that honor God in this are indeed few. In fact, most pastors resolutely reject it.

Consider Jesus’ saying, “He who is not with Me is against Me, and He who does not gather with Me scatters abroad” (Matt. 12:30). Many in the Church are not with Christ because they do not agree with Christ’s teachings as applicable to them. But true faith in Christ defends His Words.

The Deceit of Cultural Norms

Friday, July 6, 2018

“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and do not return there, but water the earth, and make it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it” (Isa. 55:10–11).

Jesus said the end-times are inextricably linked to the days of Noah and Lot, respectively transhumanism and transgenderism. Many Christians ignore the threat and sudden rise of these so-called “new” perversions and their ultimate intent. But they are not new, they are ancient evils of the devil’s attempt to destroy mankind made in the image of God, which remains Lucifer’s ultimate end-time goal, and transhumanism and transgenderism lead that demonic vision.

To demonstrate how allegedly “new” these two perversions are, the 1996 edition of Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary–Tenth Edition does not even list transhuman or transgender as words. And given their global prominence, that’s amazing. But those who are Spirit-led, recognize the end-times in which we live and know their ultimate goal is to destroy mankind.

While transhuman technologies appear less threatening, transgender gay pride flaunts itself, infecting both the world and church. Churches now split over the perversions of Lot’s day.

Though Noah was “a preacher of righteousness” (2 Peter 2:5), and “the wickedness of man was great in the earth…[and] all flesh had corrupted their way” (Gen. 6:5, 12), it was normalized. The transhuman DNA corruption of humanity, Gen. 6:1–4, was prominent. But then it rained “forty days and forty nights” (Gen. 7:12), and God destroyed them all except those in the Ark.

Though Lot was a “righteous man…vexed in his righteous soul day after day with their lawless deeds” (2 Peter 2:8), it was normalized. And when two angels came to Lot’s house “the men of Sodom, both young and old…called out to Lot…Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally” (Gen. 19:4–5). The transgender corruption of man had become normal. But then “the Lord rained brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah” (Gen. 19:24) and destroyed them all.

Now, Jesus said, “as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man” (Luke 17:26). And, Jesus said, “as it was also in the days of Lot…so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed” (Luke 17:28, 30) The evils of transhumanism and transgenderism had become culturally normalized, but very few discerned it before God intervened.

Today, transhuman and transgender end-time technologies have become culturally normal. Even in the church there are many ministers and worship leaders that proudly identify as LGBTQ and if one dares bring God’s Word to the subject, he is criticized as insensitive and homophobic.

But the “rulers of the darkness of this age” want to destroy humanity. Artificial intelligence (AI), Google, Siri, Alexa, hybrid robotics co-mingled with human DNA and more, are rapidly moving the world toward that goal. But most people, lacking discernment, and blinded by the god of this age, desire the so-called benefits of technological normalcy rather than discerning the end-times.

Antichrist is seizing control of the culture. Transhumanism is in global demand. Hi-tech firms, industrial and military firms have an insatiable desire for it. AI and robotics being mingled with human DNA, is now, and will continue producing superior beings in both mental and physical capabilities. Hybrid beings can even be visually indistinguishable from humans.

In terms of transhumanism, think of it, you can ask Google, Siri or iPhone virtually anything on your mind and get the answer instantly. Humans can’t do that, we can’t process answers to even simple questions that quickly, let alone the difficult. The power of AI is now far beyond human ability. AI has even been developed with its own personality, emotions, and reasoning abilities.

Former Assemblies of God pastor, and author of numerous books, Dr. Tom Horn says: “the #1 END TIMES THREAT that the church is almost completely asleep to – TRANSHUMANISM. For many, transhuman concepts paint bright and glorious tomorrows filled with higher efficiency, ease, and convenience for our world. For others, the notion of irreversibly changing what it is to be human and the potential spiritual and biological repercussions that holds for the earth’s dominant species is, understandably, terrifying. For Tom Horn, it holds THE TOP END TIME THREAT THAT THE CHURCH MUST WAKE-UP AND ADDRESS FOR THEIR CHILDREN, THEIR CONGREGATIONS ASAP!”

The end-times have come in a deceptively normal way, but very few are discerning of it. The 20th century saw the outpouring of the Dan. 12:4 knowledge which exponentially continues into the 21st century. While that knowledge has led to life-enhancing technology, it’s also led to the most death by destructive wars in human history. Now, man is hybridizing AI and robotics with human DNA and the results are frighteningly “as it was in the days of Noah”! Are you prepared?

AI, co-mingled biometric DNA and robotics are today normal environments, and will serve to dominate the end-times, even, ultimately being “granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed” (Rev. 13:15).

In Dr. Tom Horn and Cris Putnam’s 2015 book entitled “On The Path Of The Immortals”, Gary Stearman, in his Forward, says, “The gates of Hell are opening! Dark forces are expanding their assault on mankind. Many have talked about the “end times,” the “last days,” or the “latter days.” There has been an ongoing debate about whether humanity has finally reached this long-awaited era. Though many have not yet realized it, we have entered that period.”

In addition to Satan’s seed of giant hybrid beings having corrupted human DNA in Noah’s day, “the earth was filled with violence” (Gen. 6:11). Today, the earth is again filling with violence by servants of Satan. Globalists desiring the One World Order are willing to sacrifice innocent lives for their own lust of power and control. And don’t be deceived by Dominionism’s cry of making the world “fit enough” for Christ’s return, because violence will continue to get worse.

One would think that with the technological and convenient advances in America, there would be tolerance and consideration one for another. But just the opposite is true. Rage, hatred, rioting and discord is surging through American cities and it’s largely fueled by partisan politicians with a seething hatred of President Donald Trump and his cabinet. Please join me in praying for him!

We’re seeing Lucifer’s end-time effort to destroy mankind, but God is triumphing in redeeming all who will believe Jesus Christ! God’s Word will not return to Him void, for “His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire” (Matt. 3:12).

The apostle John was exiled “on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 1:9). We who have been born again by faith in Christ must be committed to those same truths, even if those truths place us in religious and social exile.

“cast out, that serpent of old”

Friday, June 29, 2018

As you consider your response to the biblical end times, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Eph. 6:11–12). Amen!

God’s Spirit said of Satan: “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations” (Isa. 14:12). And Jesus said of the devil: “I saw Satan fall like lightening from heaven” (Luke 10:18). Yet, though he is “fallen from heaven” Satan still has access to heaven according to Job 1:6 and 2:1, where he is the “accuser of our brethren” (Rev. 12:10). But, “war broke out in heaven…” (Rev. 12:7–8).

At the mid-tribulation point, Satan will no longer be just “fallen from heaven” yet having access to it, but will be forcibly “cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him…[For which we are warned] Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time” (Rev. 12:9, 12).

When Satan and his angels lose access to heaven, they cause great tribulation on earth. But as a Christian, you need to understand that you will never suffer the wrath of God which is reserved for all who take the mark of the beast. But there is no promise whatsoever in God’s Word that Christians will not be subject to the wrath, the hatred and the persecutions of Satan, his angels, his returning hybrid Nephilim beings, and of Antichrist. Christians must prepare in that truth.

This is why it’s vital that we, now, immediately, while we have time, prepare ourselves and loved ones to “Put on the whole armor of God”. Begin now to walk in peace and holiness with the Lord our God who said, “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord” (Heb. 12:14); for, “as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, Be holy, for I am holy’” (1 Peter 1:5–6).

If we live in holiness to the commands of Jesus to “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36), then, at the appointed time of mid-tribulation we have confidence that we are part of “the woman [who] fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days” (Rev. 12:6).

But, if through false teachers one is led astray from Jesus’ end-time truths, to trust in the false pre-trib rapture, he forfeits God’s provision and becomes open game for Antichrist, when, “the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ” (Rev. 12:17). For, “Wherever the [dead] body is, there the eagles will be gathered together” (Luke 17:37).

Remember that due to ancient Israel’s unbelief, their dead bodies littered the wilderness where they were consumed, Num. 13 & 14. And “That which has been is what will be…” (Eccl. 1:9).

Some believe the truth, are wise, and watch, and pray and are prepared, but not others. “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods are in the house, let him not come down to take them away. And likewise, the one who is in the field, let him not turn back. Remember Lot’s wife…I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed; the one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding together; the one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field; the one will be taken and the other left” (Luke 17:31–36).

This defining time will separate the wise who believe Jesus, from the foolish who do not. “And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another” (Matt. 24:10). At Luke 17:31–36 Jesus’ disciples understood that He was telling them there is a place of safety and provision for believers, for “they answered and said to Him, ‘Where Lord?’ So He said to them, ‘Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together’” (Luke 17:37).

Jesus’ parable of the wise and foolish virgins at Matt. 25:1–13 confirms the need for preparation. The wise knew their wait would be difficult and long, and prepared sufficiently. But the foolish never expected a long difficult wait, and prepared insufficiently. Finally, when the Bridegroom was revealed, the wise were prepared and went into the Wedding Banquet, but the unprepared foolish, having gone out to buy, were too late and were excluded from the Master’s Banquet!

When Satan is cast out of heaven he fully embodies the Antichrist who issues his mark “that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name” (Rev. 13:17). Here, Antichrist breaks his seven-year “covenant with many” (Dan. 9:27), and standing in the temple “opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” (2 Thess. 2:4). Jesus warned that “when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (whoever reads let him understand)” (Matt. 24:15).

“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened” (Matt. 24:21–22). Are you part of God’s “elect”? If yes, then why not believe that Jesus gathers His elect “Immediately after the tribulation” (Matt. 24:29–31) and prepare accordingly? To believe otherwise is utterly foolish.

Eternal life is this: “if you confess the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation” (Rom. 10:9–10). This is conditional, however, on your faithful continuation, that, “if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard” (Col. 1:23); “for there is no other name under heaven given among men [Jesus] by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).

“He is Lord of all”

Friday, June 22, 2018

“The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ – He is Lord of all – that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached” (Acts 10:36–37). Think on that marvelous truth, that, “Jesus Christ – He is Lord of all – that word you know”. Because “He is Lord of all”, true faith in Christ honors and defends the testimony of Christ, and never silences or opposes it.

Though the truth was initially “sent to the children of Israel”, the Jewish nation, it was not after Christ’s resurrection intended only for national Jews, but for anyone who would by faith believe Christ. We know this by Jesus’ great commission to all Christians, saying, “make disciples of all nations…teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” (Matt. 28:19–20). All of Christ’s teachings, then, were, and remain today, indiscriminate of Jews and Gentiles.

Yet, with much unbiblical thought and assumption false teachers claim that Christ’s Olivet Discourse at Matt. 24 is not for the Church, and thus exchange the truth for a lie. Silencing the testimony of Christ, neither they nor their followers discern Satan’s lie – a lie that will offend their unbelieving hearts when they see evidences of the tribulation clearly identified by the “covenant with many” (Dan. 9:27) and the Seal, Trumpet and Bowl Judgments of Revelation.

I’m deeply concerned for the many Christians deceived by dispensationalism, for they have rejected Jesus’ truths to create their own unbiblical tribulation escape plan. My prayer is that you will join me in making the truth known, to oppose the popular tide of tradition, to turn as many hearts back to true faith in Jesus as possible, because “Jesus Christ – He is Lord of all”.

Here’s one way of knowing that the dispensational rapture narrative is false: in order for the resurrection rapture to occur, “the Lord Himself will descend from heaven” (1 Thess. 4:16). Yet, Peter, in his first sermon preached by the Holy Spirit that Christ “must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything” (Acts 3:21 NIV), which occurs at the last day of this present age. Therefore, if Christ left heaven before the time came for God to restore everything, there would be no seven-year tribulation! But we know there is a seven-year tribulation.

Christians defend the One who said “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). Think about that. Why then, if Jesus is “the truth”, do many turn away from His truth that He gathers His elect “Immediately after the tribulation” (Matt. 24:29–31) to believe those who teach the exact opposite, who say He gathers saints before the tribulation! I urge you in the love of Christ, turn away from such false teachers and receive by true faith that Jesus Christ is “the way, the truth, and the life” and equip yourself in Christ’s indiscriminate Word of Truth, and live!

Is Jesus Christ “Lord of all”? Have you confessed the sin of unbelief to believe the testimony of Jesus rather than the ear-tickling lies of Satan designed to promise you an easier way? Does the Holy Spirit live in you giving you discernment of truth versus deception? This is important for the Holy Spirit said, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). But in truth, if the Holy Spirit is absent, also is absent spiritual discernment of Christ’s truths.

The heart that’s been born again, having the Holy Spirit, will believe Jesus’ testimony, including His truths of the time of the end. It can be no other way because Jesus said He is “the truth”. This is critically important, for the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, also raises His saints “at the last day” (John 6:40, 44, 54), not seven years before the last day which would be required for a dispensational rapture. And the Spirit said, “he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36). So, is Jesus truly your “Lord of all”? Do you personally, by faith, believe His Word, and are you prepared for the times of the end?

The day is fast approaching when “Another horse, fiery red, went out. And it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword” (Rev. 6:4). Simultaneously, the first Trumpet could sound “And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up” (Rev. 8:7).

In the midst of such chaos “nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another” (Matt. 24:7–10). Are you prepared for a Christ-honoring response to that?

There is a rapidly rising end-time hatred of Israel, and of God’s true Jews, meaning Christians, see Rom. 2:28–29. Not only his spirit, but the person of Antichrist wants to destroy both. We are increasingly viewed as the world’s problem to be removed. We are increasingly deemed worthy of nonexistence. But Jesus warned us, saying, “See, I have told you beforehand” (Matt. 24:25). But, largely, the church does not heed His warning.

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken” (Luke 21:25–26). This takes sincere preparation of heart, mind, soul and strength, but the lukewarm environment of the church today cares little for such preparatory work. It’s much easier and more pleasant to believe the pre-trib rapture lie than to prepare for such difficulties.

But God’s truth remains unchanged, that, “all who desire to live godly in Christ will suffer persecution” (2 Tim. 3:12), and that, “the same horn [Antichrist] was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom” (Dan. 7:21); and “It was granted to him [Antichrist] to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation…If anyone has an ear, let him hear…Here is the patience and faith of the saints” (Rev. 13:7, 9–10).

From Difficult to Easy

Friday, June 15, 2018

“I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that He is able to keep what I have committed to Him until that Day” (2 Tim. 1:12). Until what Day? “Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him…Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition” (2 Thess. 2:1–3). The Day of the Lord at the resurrection rapture of saints.

Jesus said “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me” (Luke 9:23). Not only is that choice difficult, but the path beyond even more so. Some come to faith in Christ in a memorable moment of time and day, others over an extended period of time. But all must enter by the “narrow gate” of Christ and travel the “difficult path” that leads to life as Jesus taught at Matt. 7:13–14. And that’s God’s unchangeable Word.

Yet, men have changed it. Many decades ago the Church began making the gate wide and the path easy. Men changed God’s terms to gratify those who feared Roman Catholicism as many remembered the indulgences and murders of the popes and their Jesuit priests. Many reformers rightly taught that the papal throne would prove to be the seat of end-time Antichrist. And many Christians wanted those fears relieved, and theologian John Darby answered the call.

After the Reformation the overt murder of saints diminished as the evils of Roman Catholicism came to light. Satan then laid a deception that exchanged the “narrow gate” and “difficult path” for an easier one – one that would allay Christians’ fears by nullifying God’s Word that Christ gathers His elect “Immediately after the tribulation” (Matt. 24:29–31). Thus, with the threat of Antichrist and the tribulation removed, the gate widened and the path to the end greatly eased.

Largely today the definition of a Christian has become whether or not one attends a church, and with that are led to think they are saved. It wasn’t always like that. Church fathers and preachers like Charles Spurgeon and others are proof. Fear of the Roman popes began the downward spiral to the wide gate and easy path. Satan, finding a willing vessel in Darby in 1827, deceptively, yet theologically, attacked the faith required to endure the end-time tribulation of this present age.

If Satan could nullify Christ’s teaching that He gathers His elect saints “Immediately after the tribulation” with a pre-tribulation rapture lie, he would greatly enlarge the end-time falling away. So he made the end-time path easy by spiritually seducing many that Jesus’ Olivet Discourse at Matthew 24 was not meant for the Church. And many Christians eagerly bought the lie.

Think of it, millions of Christians were relieved as the “difficult path” became easy, hence its popularity. God’s promise that Antichrist would “overcome” the saints (Dan. 7:21, Rev. 13:7) was now of no consequence! The Seal, Trumpet and Bowl Judgments, gone! No tribulation or great tribulation! Famines, pestilences, offenses and being hated by all nations, all gone! All the Biblical knowledge God gave us of the end-times otherwise intended to prepare saints for the last seven years of this age was gone! It seems that John Darby took his cue from President Thomas Jefferson who literally cut out portions of the Bible that didn’t suit him. And that’s exactly what pre-tribulation rapture theologians, preachers, teachers and their followers have done.

God doesn’t want Christians to fear the end-times, but to be equipped in knowledge and power of the Spirit to engage those times, and be a witness to the lost. For Jesus said of the tribulation that “it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony” (Luke 21:13). But the pre-trib rapture tradition has destroyed the need for end-time knowledge and endurance to the end at the last day.

Darby said Matt. 24 is not for the Church, thus, men have silenced God’s Word. Darby said it’s for unbelieving Jews. He nullified Jesus’ testimony and God’s character wherein the Spirit said “there is no partiality with God” (Rom. 2:11). For Jesus taught Nicodemus, “a ruler of the Jews” (John 3:1), that “unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Thus, using Darby’s theological rationale of discrimination between Jews and non-Jews, why does the evangelical Church contradict that rationale and teach that non-Jews must be born again?

The greatest threat to the Church is not from outside, but from within. Note the strong warning from the Holy Spirit by Paul: “For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves” (Acts 20:29–30).

And that’s just what happened. Men, fearful and discontent with God’s promise of the coming end-times with its Antichrist, became willing recipients of deceiving spirits that promised the Church it was excluded from that “difficult path”, and thus they exchanged the truth for a lie.

If you’ve been on the easy pre-trib rapture path, please believe Christ and move to the “difficult path”, because you will then believe Christ’s truths and be equipped to endure to the end, (Matt. 24:13). You will also remove the possibility of offense when Antichrist is revealed, for Jesus warned that when the persecutions of the tribulation begin “then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another” (Matt. 24:10).

“In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in his 1967 Steelers Lecture) Sadly, in our final generation of this present age, the silence of our friends, refusing to defend Jesus Christ’s end-time truths is deafening.

A Personal Note to You

Sunday, June 10, 2018

Good morning to friends and readers of TheFridayLetter.com. An unexpected event occurred. Some have called and emailed wondering why TheFridayLetter.com of Friday, June 8, 2018 was not posted. Desiring to advance the gospel truths of Christ, and not calling attention to personal issues, I yet owe you an explanation. My health has changed.

This past Tuesday, June 5, 2018, I suffered a heart attack, but didn’t recognize it as such and put off going to the doctor. When the chest pain persisted Wednesday morning, and at the urging of my wife and our children, I consented and went to the nearest hospital. (Here a word of caution to you, the reader, my EKG registered normal, but all was not normal. A blood test revealing the release of certain enzymes the heart releases upon a heart attack was the confirming factor.)

On Wednesday I was transferred from the first hospital to the second, where doctors performed heart catheter and ultrasound tests which confirmed a 95% blockage in one artery and 80% in another. Because of the dye used in those tests doctors said they had to wait until the dye was flushed from my kidneys before advancing to the final procedure to open the blockage.

Friday, June 8, 2018 at about noon, doctors installed two stents in the blocked arteries. I suffered significant chest pain for the next eight to ten hours, but the faithfulness of my personal Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, a chorus of prayer ascending to the Father, and the wisdom He gave doctors, preserved my life for continued life with my wife and children, Christian ministry and sharing life-changing truths of the gospel, and calling attention to the end-time imminent tribulation.

Please know my heart-felt thanksgiving for your many prayers offered on my behalf during this difficult time. Lord willing, next Friday, June 15, 2018, TheFridayLetter.com will continue to the glory, honor, praise and majesty of King Jesus, the eternal God, the Maker of all things, the One to whom we must all give a personal account, the Giver of eternal life for all who believe Him.
