The Futility of Politics

Today, if one stands for Christ, he will be discriminated against, hated, isolated, and canceled. But Christ told us that if we follow Him the world would hate us because it hated Him, John 15:19. This will increasingly get worse between now and the time Christ returns to gather His elect “Immediately after the tribulation” (Matt. 24:29–31); “at the last day” (John 6:40, 44, 54); at “the resurrection” (John 5:28–29); “at the last trumpet” (1 Cor. 15:51–53); when the seventh trumpet sounds, Rev. 11:15–18; and “the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first” (1 Thess. 4:16); for “He must remain in heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything” (Acts 3:21 NIV). And God doesn’t restore everything until after the Tribulation.

We’ve entered the days of the end as spiritual darkness floods the world with elite globalist leaders who hate God, people and their freedoms. Listen to Tulsi Gabbard explain why she’s leaving the Democrat Party, the ones abusing power. Tulsi is right on every point about the corruption of the Biden/Harris/Democrat regime, as she tries to observe both Christian and Hindu beliefs, which is impossible, see Matt. 6:24 and John 14:6. The physical and spiritual assaults against Americans by President Biden and his radical Democrats is not unique to the U.S., but is also occurring at the global level. This is another benchmark of the end-times.

And here, Mike Adams explains why many people are today living in delusion, meaning to live in deception; in part as foretold at 2 Thess. 2:9–10. And for those of us living by faith in Christ and believe His testimony, God said “Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day [the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ at the rapture, for gathering His elect, (2 Thess. 2:1)] will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition” [Antichrist] (2 Thess. 2:3). True faith in God’s explicit and plain truths lead and guide us as we navigate these end-times. Put God and His Christ first, standing firm and enduring until the end of this age. Global elite’s are creating the collapse of every social order; they are engineering a multi-faceted collapse in order to take captive world citizens, to force people to exist under the wicked dictatorship of Antichrist’s One World Government, and literally billions will be killed.

I’m aware that as we approach the mid-term 2022 elections, many are projecting that there will be a red wave across the nation with Republicans taking the House and Senate, as if that should provide some level of hope for Christians and conservatives. Not true! While it’s generally true that Republicans seem to align more with Christian principles than do Democrats, the projected red wave will not change the course of these end-times. Many Republicans are RINOs, heavily compromised, even bought, and go-along-to-get-along with their liberal Democrat counterparts, afraid to stand for truth, afraid to stand for righteousness, afraid to stand for Godly truths, afraid of losing popularity, and stoop to lying boldly enough to get themselves reelected to office.

Why is that? Because “the love of money is the root of all evil” (1 Tim. 6:10 KJV). It would be very difficult to find politicians on either side of the isle who would forego money, position and power in exchange for loving and defending the testimony of Jesus Christ. That’s even true of many pastors of organized churches. In their hubris of position and power the praise of man who is seen is much more valuable to them than the praise of God who is unseen, and with that comes the promise of more deceitful money, and more money means more power. That’s the problem!

In the political arena, even many professing Christians are demonstrably fearful of voicing the teachings of Christ. Why? They know it would be political suicide, as they say. But in reality, they’re ashamed of Christ, which demonstrates just how unwelcome Christ is in the national political fray. But Jesus said “whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels” (Mark 8:38). The ruse of politicians beginning the day in Christian prayer, but then disallow God’s Word from being central to making laws supposedly to govern the people, is the height of hypocrisy. Understand that politics will one day soon ascend Antichrist to the head of his One World Government. In hatred, he will subject the entire world under him, when “all the world marveled and followed the beast” (Rev. 13:3b). Are you ready?

I firmly believe the number of true Bible-believing, God-honoring Christians in the House and Senate are overwhelmingly the minority. Post-Calvary politics, regardless of which Party holds control in any nation, is not and never has been the means of securing the testimony and rule of God and His Christ over that nation. Yet, many Christians operate by the delusion that political activism, also known as Christian Dominionism, will turn this nation to repentance, confession and faith in Jesus Christ which is nothing but self-deception. Neither Jesus nor His apostles were political activists, but when they had opportunity to speak truth to corrupt political leaders, they seized the moment, redeeming the time, because they loved God and His Christ who are unseen.

In the face of these last days, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him I will trust.’ Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways” (Psa. 91:1–11).

Let’s pursue the mid-Tribulation escape of “the freewoman” (Gal. 4:21–31), “counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36), when “the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they [the angels] should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days” (Rev. 12:6, ~14). This is our escape from the “great tribulation” (Matt. 24:21), the last 3 1/2 years, or forty-two months of this present age when Antichrist pursues and hunts down any who do not accept his mark of the beast. Just as God made a way of escape for Noah and his family from the Flood, and Lot and his daughters from the fire and brimstone that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, so too, God provides a way of escape for His end-time Bride, under the exclusive condition that His Bride believes the testimony of His Son, the Bridegroom, as did the five wise virgins, Matt. 25:1–13. And let’s not forget the Words of our Savior that, “he who endures to the end shall be saved” (Matt. 24:13).
