Our Mission Possible

Almighty God is increasingly decreasing His restraint on Satan and his demonic hordes. This is why the world is spiraling out of control as any Christ-loving believer with common sense sees. The reason for the rapidly rising degradation of humanity is that God is decreasing His restraint on evil; God is allowing the devil more and more influence upon the world. And Satan’s main goal is the destruction of humanity made in the image of God. We see this human degradation in the ever-increasingly unrestrained and perverse LGBTQ+ and transgender agenda. Homosexuality, lesbian, gay, trans, queer, and abortion, are all forms of sexual immorality that destroy humanity. And that’s the work of Satan; he desires and foments the destruction of mankind. For those of us who know the Scriptures, these wicked agendas remind us that that’s how it was also in the days of Noah. And by Jesus’ testimony the days of Noah attend the end of this present age. Are you ready?

And this spiritual disease has spread to the highest courts in America. There was even recently a SCOTUS nominee who could not answer the question, “What is a woman”. People who should know better increasingly demonstrate an absurd desire to turn humanity into a quagmire of what God did not create. That’s the devil’s work and he’s being given more and more rope by God. In this, you and I as true Christians make our choice (the ungodly world loves the idea of choice but only when it suits their evil agenda) and bide our time as we wait upon the Lord for our “blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13). The time is rapidly coming when “the man of sin…the son of perdition” (2 Thess. 2:3) is revealed, and then great deception rules the seven-year tribulation. But in Christ Jesus, this is our mission possible!

The world’s ever-increasing infection of sin, I say again, is the direct result of God increasingly decreasing His restraint on evil. God wants you and every other believer to know and understand that truth. The Holy Spirit said “We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one” (1 John 5:19). That’s okay, God told us in advance. And Jesus said that “The thief [the devil] does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10). In this, we believers see the mission of Satan, as the line of demarcation between holy and unholy, between good and evil become vibrantly clear. As true believers there’s no question that these ungodly issues are in fact ungodly and wicked, and that’s a huge blessing! But to the unbeliever, and Christian in name only, to the non-discerning, and the undecided fence-sitter, these wicked issues are causes for hand-wringing, stress, anxiety, fear and perplexity. In Christ we are in the know. And because, by new birth faith in Christ, we are in the know “If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men” (Rom. 12:18). What a blessing, that in Christ, we are empowered to do just that! What a glorious revelation and demonstration that God is love!

In the midst of a world of hate and immorality, we are clear-sighted in Christ, knowing that He has prepared for us glorious eternal homes, John 14:1–3. But we haven’t even talked about wars yet, but we must. Wars are also a tool of Satan to destroy people made in the image of God, and this is why the world is an endless warring machine. Do not let yourself get caught in that fight because people who do, being without discernment, make themselves servants of Satan. Wars, like immorality, are greatly increasing, but we who are of true faith in Christ must not join the world’s forces of war that destroy people made in the image of God. That’s the devil’s work!
