Actions Speak Loudly

This is not about politics, but about spiritual warfare. It’s a blessing that President Trump won re-election. God has endowed him with common sense in the affairs of leading our nation. But while the church has been given its second reprieve, evil spirits rage and sow deception. Is this deception why President Trump chose false pastor Paula White to lead his White House faith office? President Trump should not give ear to the failed spiritual leadership of Paula White. It’s shameful, and signals that Trump isn’t knowledgeable or discerning of God’s word. I have often called you to pray for President Trump and I encourage you to that again, because neither he nor our nation needs the bankrupt spiritual leadership of false pastor Paula White. She’s disgraceful.

Watch the videos of “heretic” pastor Paula White. She’s a disgraceful example of what Christian ministry even looks like. She is in total rebellion to the commands of the Lord at 1 Tim. 2:11–14 and 1 Cor. 14:34–37. There’s no Scripture that examples her outlandish and heretical conduct as she brings disgrace and mockery to the commission of Christian ministers. Yet, she has millions of followers who are themselves deceived, ignorant of the Scriptures, or both. The apostle Paul, by the Holy Spirit, strongly renouncing women speaking and teaching in the church, concludes the 1 Cor. 14:34–37 passage with these words: “If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things which I write to you are the commandments of the Lord” (1 Cor. 14:37). [My emphasis] Lack of biblical knowledge and discernment in the word of God, together with rebellion, is disastrous to those claiming new birth faith in Christ.

Rebellious pastor Paula White and many false women pastors like her, together with thousands of their male counterparts, have been governing the church in such open rebellion that they no longer even recognize what rebellion looks like! Anything goes, nothing is off limits. Christ warned, “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked—I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Rev. 3:14–20). [My emphasis] Note that at that church, Christ is not even inside the church, but is outside like a stranger knocking on the door!

My hope in sharing this with you is twofold: first, that you join me in praying that President Trump’s spiritual eyes are opened to recognise that he chose an unfit rebellious woman to lead his White House faith office and that he reverses course and appoints a qualified humble man of God and integrity instead; and secondly, if you are entangled in a church with a woman pastor(s) that you remove yourself from that house of rebellion. “For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, He also has rejected you from being king” (1 Sam. 15:23). And that rejection in the present case is from being pastor. The “it is written” word and testimony of God in Christ is the truth guiding those willing to be under the mighty hand of God to endure faithfully to the end of this age. It’s not an easy road to know, understand and obey the word of Almighty God, Matt. 7:13–14.

Every professing Christian must decide if the Holy Bible is God’s word per 2 Tim. 3:16-17, or not. If it is, then it has authority over a believer’s life. If not, then it’s open to manipulation to be made to say whatever one wants it to say. Culture drives that process. But in order for believers to overcome lies and deceptions, our example is to be drawn from Christ Himself when tempted by the Devil in the wilderness forty days. It’s faith building that at every temptation by the Devil, Jesus responded with “it is written”, not once, but three times, Matt. 4:4–11. Therefore, if Christ so depended upon the “it is written” word of God, should we not follow His example? Is that not what it means to “have the mind of Christ” (1 Cor. 2:16)? Is that not what it means to “humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God” (1 Peter 5:6)?  Certainly! But those influenced more by the culture than God’s word will make the Word say what the culture demands it to say. And the result is rebellion against God and His Christ who do not change, Mal. 3:6 and Heb. 13:8.

In the true Christian church the Bible’s authority was not questioned nor was it contentious among believers before WWII, immediately after which Israel was reborn as a nation. That’s when end-time evil spirits began inciting the culture to progressively change the true church on numerous issues for which it had believed and stood fast for millennia. Post-WWII the culture began kicking in the doors of the church. The result? Today, many churches give homosexual men and women to offices of pastor, Bible teacher and counselor. Little by little the culture has progressively demanded the church bend the knee to its demands. The church grew weary of the onslaught and has today given in to things that 70 years ago would have been cast aside as total heresy and rebellion, but today it’s become normalized, defended and even celebrated.

Actions speak loudly, yes, louder than what’s written in church statements of faith and belief. Many church charters say they believe the Bible is the inerrant and authoritative word of God, but with little to no actual regard for preservation of the “it is written” Word. This is also why there is a proliferation of ever-changing Bible versions progressively changing God’s word to make it more culture-friendly, increasingly minimizing sin, rebellion and unbelief. Centers of academia are also examples of how the culture has worn down the charters of many great Ivy League schools. For example, consider the number two “Rules and Precepts of Harvard”: “Let every student be plainly instructed, and earnestly pressed to consider well, the main end of his life and studies is, to know God and Jesus Christ which is eternal life, John 17:3, and therefore to lay Christ in the bottom, as the only foundation of all sound knowledge and learning. And seeing the Lord only giveth wisdom, let everyone seriously set himself by prayer in secret to seek it of him, Prov. 2, 3.” Today, Harvard professors would likely be fired for citing Christ Jesus as the source of truth. Grave spiritual damage to the church and academia has occurred since WWII.

I’m reminded of, “Catch us the foxes, the little foxes that spoil the vines, for our vines have tender grapes” (Song. 2:15). In the midst of this blossoming love story comes imagery of “little foxes that spoil” that developing love. As true believers we discern that deceitful evil spirits are like those “little foxes”, destructive, and on mission to destroy what God’s commanded. That’s how many plain teachings of the Lord and His Spirit have literally been made to say the exact opposite from the “it is written” text. Among numerous things, it’s occurred regarding women pastors and Christ gathering His elect “Immediately after the tribulation” (Matt. 24:29–31).
