Be An Acts 17:11 Christian

“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be equipped for every good work” (2 Tim. 3:16–17). This is why Christians run to “All Scripture”, and not from any of it!

By the way many pastors and teachers reject and ignore highly relevant portions of God’s Word, however, even finding the shameful capacity to detract from its holy enduring solemnity with humor, one would never suspect that the path to salvation faith and life is narrow and difficult.

From Zero Hedge 10/11/2016, “Nuclear War Is On The Horizon: This Is Not Just Talk…Action Has Been Taken”. Then this 10/12/2016 same source headline, “Russian Government Officials Told To Immediately Bring Back Children Studying Abroad”. And then from Military Times on 10/11/2016, “U.S. threatens retaliation for missile attack off Yemen”. WW3 continues to foment.

“And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars…For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom” (Matt. 24:6–7). The world is facing an end-time apocalyptic nuclear holocaust that God’s Word makes known, but much of church leadership remains silent about it.

The imminent collapse of one or more central banks due to unsustainable global debt will ignite a world economic catastrophe, not to mention the civil chaos that will follow. The globalist elite will stop at nothing to impose their One World Order agenda, even to the creation of such fiscal destruction, and / or even halting the U.S. election scheduled for November 8, 2016.

“He [Antichrist] causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one has the mark or the number of the beast, or the number of his name” (Rev. 13:16–17). This is not far off.

The world is on the brink of a nuclear WW3 which will kill over 1.5 billion people. It’s not a matter of “if” but “when”; just read the second and fourth seals of Rev. 6:3–4 and Rev. 6:7–8 respectively. Concurrent with those two horrific events is the third seal of famine and scarcity, all of which are components of the seven-year tribulation of the end-times. And no, you will not be whisked away by a pre-trib rapture! But what have you done to provide for your family?

“And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows” (Matt. 24:7–8). “And there will be signs in the sun…moon, and stars; and on the earth distress of nations…the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth” (Luke 21:25–26).

Christians must expect catastrophic disasters to continue and increase, for we have entered the times leading to the end. Now this 10/12/2016 headline from Yahoo! News, “Millions of North Carolina chickens die in Hurricane Matthew floods: state”. And this from The Weather Channel, 10/12/2016, “Houston’s Next Large Hurricane Could Be the City’s ‘Doom,’ Researcher Says”.

From YNet News, 10/13/2016, “The UN has decided that Jews have no connection to Jerusalem. United Nations UNESCO body has passed a resolution put forth by the Palestinians denying all connection between Jews and Jerusalem and the Temple Mount. PM Netanyahu: To say that Israel has no connection to the Temple Mount and Western Wall is like saying China has no connection to the Great Wall.” Tensions over Jerusalem will continue to escalate rapidly.

God said, “I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land” (Joel 3:2).

To saints of the Most High who are, “looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ” (Titus 3:13), tribulation end-time events are now setting upon the world. In this regard I pray you apply the Acts 17:11 Berean-heart, and please, love Christ enough to learn for yourself when our, “blessed hope” occurs, because your pastor will not.

Truth matters greatly concerning when, “the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God” (1 Thess. 4:15), at “the first resurrection” (Rev. 20:4–6), when the righteous dead are raised, “at the last day” (John 6:40).

Unbelief of the truth of when the rapture occurs, will, by the prophetic authoritative Word of God bear much fruit to offense (Matt. 24:10); offense so great that many Christians will turn to hatred and betrayal one of another; offense that will suddenly lead, “the falling away” (2 Thess. 2:3).

That truth should make every Christian desire to know God’s truth of when the rapture occurs. If you love the Lord Jesus like I hope you do, then please make the investment of time and study to learn the truth, and stop blindly trusting the pre-trib rapture lie you’ve been told to believe.

John Nelson Darby (1800–1882), architect and founder of dispensationalism, which includes the pre-trib rapture tradition, has led Christians away from the testimony of Jesus Christ for the end-times. I cannot adequately emphasize the treacherous lie that accompanies his false tradition. It is poised to destroy many present-day, end-time Christians, and it will do so through offense.

The pre-trib rapture is very strong in the church because most Christians simply do not exercise the Acts 17:11 Spirit-led study of God’s Word to discover the truth, and demand the casting out of falsehood. Many exchange the difficult way Jesus taught for the Americanized easy way the flesh desires, but I exhort you: find the truth and be not deceived by the false tradition of many.

Remember, from the very beginning of His earthly ministry, Jesus Christ taught concerning salvation faith, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it” (Matt. 7:13–14). That is still true.

But many pastors and teachers make the way of repentance, salvation faith and sanctification enduring to eternal life appear easy, attractive, private, even humorous, and on man’s terms. But here’s a news flash: Christ owns that process, and it’s “narrow…and difficult”! Man’s pre-trib rapture is the wide gate and broad way, but Jesus’ post-trib rapture is the narrow, difficult way.
