We all live on borrowed time, borrowed from God in Christ who created us in His image. Human life is not an accident, but ordained by God. “For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them” (Psa. 139:13–16).
Sudden death is increasingly common, be it many young people dying on athletic fields and others from mysterious blood clots and myocarditis from Covid-19 vaccines and boosters, or military troops dying in combat, mass shootings, or a thousand other ways human life ends. No one knows when our borrowed time expires, thus the imperative to know that salvation faith in Christ is firmly established by true faith in the Person and shed blood of Christ, because “as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation” (Heb. 9:27–28). And there are no do-overs, no second chances of our human life.
Last week I said “we true believers with biblical knowledge and discernment see an irreversible trend to more unbelief and wickedness.” I stand by that assessment in these end-times. There is no course correction for humanity, no one to provide redemption except the One and only Christ who already came and returned to His Father 2,000 years ago. The brevity of life is serious with eternity on the line. Daily, world conditions grow worse. And before you accuse me of being too negative please know that I have a spiritually discerning ear in these times and recognize that in the midst of this end-time madness God is working His salvation among many. But that doesn’t negate the fact that “evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived” (2 Tim. 3:13), nor that, right now many believers “will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables” (2 Tim. 4:3–4). For many believers, church is a gathering of social and technological sensationalism.
On the serious brevity of life comes the concerning issue that President Donald Trump has done a total 180 degree about-face on his stance with Ukraine and its war with Russia. In the opening months of his presidency Trump railed against Ukraine and President Zelensky as crooked, even shutting him down in an Oval Office meeting. Suddenly, however, Trump now sides with leaders from Europe to help Zelensky win the war with Russia! And that “US President Donald Trump has said Kyiv can ‘win all of Ukraine back in its original form’, marking a major shift in his position on the war with Russia.” (Source) And worse, Trump said incursions made into NATO airspace by Russian fighter jets should be responded to by “shooting them down”! (Source) It’s madness that Trump encourages Ukraine’s Zelensky to escalate this war with Russia, and I, now more than ever, believe this will become nuclear WWIII! In the wake of Trump’s newly acquired fondness of Ukraine, this war will escalate, if it hasn’t already as “Russian missile strike destroys 5-F16’s; kills numerous NATO personnel.” (Source) Ensure that your spiritual house is in order because death may come in an instant, in just one second of the blinding flash of a nuclear blast!
In addition to an imminent threat of WWIII, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene feels the need to state that “she is not suicidal” because she knows that truth-tellers who reveal evil secrets of the elite are often suicided to silence threat of exposure. In this case demanding the release of the Jeffery Epstein files. Interestingly, Charlie Kirk, who was very influential, called for the release of those files. Now he’s been murdered for being vocal. Anyone with common sense knows a billionaire like Jeffery Epstein didn’t commit his sex crimes on his private island by himself. The American people believe he had other powerful and wealthy accomplices. It’s now believed by many that Jeffery Epstein was a CIA asset with connections to Israel. Of course the DOJ denies any such charges. But when strong push back comes from authorities, there’s likely more truth there than not. Make no mistake, Israel, the unbelieving and rebellious people God divorced, Jer. 3:8, is just as corrupt as any nation on earth, and it’s possible that Charlie Kirk was on the cusp of exposing Israel’s involvement. Was Charlie Kirk silenced before releasing such information? In this life we may never know. But this we do know, Charlie Kirk was spiritually prepared and ready for his moment of eternity!
According to the 2024 Point-In-Time (PIT) Count, there were 771,480 homeless people in the U.S., and that count is rapidly rising! Why does our government provide billions and billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to other nations, for things like LGBTQ+ indoctrination and who knows what, when we have a homeless crisis right here in America?! Here’s a 28-minute video of the reality of our homeless fellowman. We have this homelessness despite Lottery Jackpots of over $1,000,000,000! That’s over $1 Billion going to a single person, or a small group! Millions of Americans have money to squander, yes, and I literally mean squander, on lottery tickets, while our U.S. government has the money (only because it insolvently prints money) to the benefit of other nations while we have U.S. citizens suffering day and night unable to afford a home as the costs of homes and normal living exceeds the abilities of the average American. Consider, if the lottery providers were to give just $1,000,000 to each homeless person in America, it would not reach the total of just one jackpot value in excess of $1,000,000,000! We have become a society of the rich and poor with the middle class disappearing; many one moment away from eternity.
Again, I bring attention to AI and its rapidly advancing tech that will change the lives of every person on the earth. “The world stands on the precipice of creating AI Terminators that could eliminate the human race, experts have cautioned. Eliezer Yudkowsky and Nate Soares, two leading authorities in the technology sector, contend that AI will covertly manipulate us into constructing a lethal robotic army designed to destroy humanity.” (Source) While I reject the notion that AI will create “AI Terminators” … “that could eliminate the human race”, AI will indeed create “the image of the beast” (Rev. 13:15), that “should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed”. Ultimately, AI will consolidate all its technologically superior abilities over humans made in the image of God, and create a global mandate that will prohibit mankind from buying or selling unless one has the mark of the beast. Creators of AI are warning that humanity is at risk, and by the time of the middle of the seven-year tribulation it will become reality. But for prepared believers, it will be our time to escape to God’s safety and provision for the last 1,260 days of the great tribulation, Rev. 12:6, 14.
Today, violence is exploding in America and around the world, and it will only escalate from here. Large public spaces are proving to be danger zones involving mass shootings. For many different reasons many people live on the fringe of poor mental health often fueled by radical ideological indoctrination. To his credit Trump is ordering the National Guard into cities and jurisdictions where violence overruns the abilities of local law enforcement. None of us should think we’re exempt from the possibility of unexpected violence that could claim our life at any moment. In this truth we’re all just a moment from eternity. It’s worth every second of your time to speak with each member of your family and loved ones to ensure that they all know the Lord Jesus Christ and acknowledge the very real possibility of the brevity of life, and that no one has the promise of tomorrow. In the meantime, or until the Lord calls us home to Himself, let’s find others with whom we can share our many blessings. Above all share love of the Gospel.
