America has gradually sunk to a new low with the worst yet to come. Spawned by spirits of Antichrist indwelling unrepentant globalists, leftist government leaders and liberals, America’s new norm appears to be that of approved lawlessness, hatred, violent protests, thefts, building-burning, and now the outrageous demand by democrats to actually defund city and state police! Ancient Rome fell from internal corruption and it appears the U.S. is shaping up for the same. You can’t make this stuff up. But the truth is, these are all signs of the end times.
Current events affirm what about 5% of Christians know: that we now live at the end of this age. If there was ever a time to heed the Scriptures to “aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own hands” (1 Thess. 4:11) it’s now! And also do “not seal the words of the prophecy of this Book, for the time is at hand. He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still” (Rev. 22:10–11). It’s time to let the wicked be unjust and filthy still, but we, the elect of Christ, let us continue to be righteous and holy still.
Dear fellow Christians, do not thrust yourself into the fray of these evil times, not even on the guise of evangelism. You cannot evangelize someone incited to violence, rioting and defunding police. Follow Jesus’ example when faced with a violent mob intent on doing harm: “when they heard these things, [His teachings] were filled with wrath…and they led Him to the brow of the hill on which their city was built, that they might throw Him down over the cliff. Then passing through the midst of them, He went His way” (Luke 4:28–30). Jesus “went His way”! He did NOT try to persuade the rioters of anything, and as Christ’s ambassadors neither should we!
These times will grow worse, but let’s apply the Words of Jesus to “hold fast what you have till I come” (Rev. 2:25); and also “Behold I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown” (Rev. 3:11). Inserting oneself into the agenda of the ungodly has potential of corrupting and poisoning the hearts and minds of believers. God said “A fool’s wrath is known at once, [and we see that] but a prudent man covers shame” (Prov. 12:16); and again “A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished” (Prov. 22:3). The violence plaguing this country is altogether demonic, and true saints in Christ have absolutely no calling by Word or Spirit to thrust themselves into that hotbed of rage, rebellion and anarchy.
America is spiraling out of control. America is under siege like no other nation on earth because it is the last powerful bastion of nationalistic freedom standing in the way of globalists. Satanic forces incite everything that’s wrong in America – its failing federal and state governments, its partisan divisions, racism, property and businesses destruction, lawlessness, killings and more. But we who live by God’s Word must “aspire to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business”. Believers, let’s do that lest we’re caught in Satan’s mire with the wicked and ungodly.
In America there are generally two political forces of governance: Republican and Democrat. It’s interesting that in political terms Republicans are labeled “Right” and Democrats the “Left”. And God said “A wise man’s heart is at his right hand, but a fool’s heart at his left” (Eccl. 10:2). Now it’s true that Democrats generally are the ones who put forward progressive, liberal, and anti-God agendas of governance, e.g. the incendiary, eight-year, anti-God rule of Barack Hussein Obama.
It was Barack Hussein Obama and his liberal party that made ungodly government-mandated changes to the natural order of mankind created in the image of God. Barack Obama ruled that there be no distinction between male and female. Obama honored transgenderism and mandated same-sex restrooms. He promotes homosexuality and same-sex marriage. He bathed the White House in colors of the rainbow in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ agenda. He strengthens abortion. He professes to be a Christian, but you read these 40 quotes and decide for yourself. And it was Democrats who assaulted American citizens with their shamefully false, 2.5-year-long Russia collusion witch hunt against our nationalist President Donald Trump and his administration!
From the writings of LTC Robert L Maginnis: “Only Americans who are spiritually aware can discern the conspiracy of evil attacking us on every front, a fight led by Satan and his demonic army and aided by his many human proxies.” Maginnis continues – “Although most of us are consumed with the visible bad actors rioting on our streets, we Christians must focus on the unseen fight. We must see that the skies above America are flashing red with indications of a raging war and one warned of in the prophetic scriptures.”
America must be brought down to enable Antichrist’s creation of a One World Order, and the presidency of Barack Hussein Obama ripped out what remained of the pillars of this once-great nation, arguably built on the principles of the Christian faith. America must be brought down to fulfill God’s Word and bring in the time of the end, and men like Barack Obama and other anti-truth, anti-God and socialist individuals are instruments to that end, no less different than God using ancient wicked kings to repeatedly judge Israel, and to fulfill His prophetic Word.
And with that process, we who are the elect of Christ must be content and say “Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” (Rev. 22:20). In Christ, our second obligation is to our spouses and families; to ensure they are born again by new birth faith in Christ, and equipped in the end-time truths of God’s Word, and shown how to endure to the end; how to secure the promise and provision of God, to be the “freewoman” of Gal. 4:21–31, to be prepared at the appointed time to “fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, [the last 3 1/2 years of the great tribulation] from the presence of the serpent” (Rev. 12:14).
At mid-tribulation God’s wrath will be poured out on unbelievers and on the lukewarm, and in that context Christ said “Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass” (Luke 21:36). And from the ancient: “Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, until the indignation is passed. For behold, the Lord comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity” (Isa. 26:20–21), similar to Israel’s first Passover at Exo. 12:22–23. And “Seek the Lord, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger” (Zep. 2:3). The Words “It may be” are similar to the Words “that you may be counted worthy” and indicates the possibility that one may or may not “be found worthy”, or that one may or may not “be hidden” in the day of the Lord’s anger.
