Prophecy vs Politics

Friday, November 4, 2022

Prophecy is being fulfilled, meaning biblical prophecy which has already been written in God’s Word, and not the many ear-tickling and false predictions of self-appointed prophets in churches and religious circles who prophecy to garner praise and a name for themselves. God’s prophetic Word drawn from Greek and Hebrew texts, giving us the Holy Bible, KJV or the more modern NKJV, is being fulfilled as the world is being prepared for the end of this present age. Nations and people are being deceived not only by leaders who serve the devil’s agenda to destroy the authority and rule of God and His Christ, but those not sealed in Christ are being politically and spiritually poisoned, and are led by increasingly unrestrained evil spirits and their perversions all over the world. Elite globalists and their followers, in rebellion, rage against the truth that the God of the Bible is the Author and Finisher of this present physical world and its humanity.

The deliberate subjection of the United States to the dregs of political and economic division, racism, hatred, violence, and to destruction, began in earnest under President Barack Obama. And since then, anti-Christ spirits have rapidly continued gaining ground in what will swiftly be the absolute destruction of the U.S. And this is occurring not only in America, but other nations across the world. In fact, all nations will ultimately join forces to rage against God and His Christ in their satanic efforts to overthrow God and His Word. This is so because the world has entered the time of the end when the final battles between God and Satan, through his Antichrist, will be fought. In this regard, it is imperative that we, the true born again believers in Christ, be clothed in the righteousness of Christ, equipped in His Word, and prepared to endure to the very end.

But for lack of believing faith in the testimony of Christ while upholding traditions of men, much of what’s preached and taught in churches has not prepared believers for what lies directly ahead. More often than not, church leadership is literally afraid to preach the prophetic Word of God to the people, the very Word that otherwise would warn, equip, and prepare all those who believe.

Next Tuesday, November 8, 2022, America will hold its mid-term political elections, and I know that many conservatives and Christians are hoping for a conservative red wave to sweep across this nation. I understand that desire completely. It would be a welcome sight given the profound political, economic, social and religious destructions we’ve all seen under the Democrat Party of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris. God established national borders, but the Left does anything in its power to destroy borders. God established the family unit, but the radical Left is hell-bent on destroying the family structure. God said that “rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil” (Rom. 13:3). Yet, the radical Left actively makes government a terror to good works! I could go on with many truths along these lines, but you get the point. The power hungry elite, their radical Left and its wicked mainstream media, revile everything God has established.

But the hard prophetic truth is that, whether there’s a red wave or not, the forces of evil in this present age will overcome true followers of Jesus Christ. Now, many Christians will berate me for saying that, but their disagreement is not with me but with God who said by His prophets, “I was watching; and the same horn [Antichrist] was making war against the saints, and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and a judgment was made in favor of the saints of the Most High, and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom” (Dan. 7:21–22). And for those who say, “Well, that’s Old Testament, and we live by the New Testament”, think again, for all of God’s redemptive end-time Word applies to all believers. Further, in the New Testament, God said that “It was granted to him [Antichrist] to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation” (Rev. 13:7). Now that requires preparation, otherwise many unprepared believers will not be able to endure to the end, just like the five foolish virgins of Matt. 25:1–13 were unprepared to endure to the end.

This is why God said “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be” (Matt. 24:37); and “Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot…Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed” (Luke 17:26, 30). And this is why believers must be prepared to endure to the end. It’s imperative that all who profess Christ be aware that just as God made a plan to save Noah and his family from the Flood, and just as He made a plan to save Lot and his family from the fire and brimstone that destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, so too God made a plan to preserve all who believe and prepare in truth and knowledge according to His Word. But that truth and knowledge, for the sake of traditions of men, has been kept from most believers as they have been led to ignore God’s prophetic truths and testimony of Jesus Christ for the end-times.

Here’s how we must prepare our hearts and minds: no political party of this world can stop the prophetic Word of God from being fulfilled. That which is written is what will be and will usher in the eternal rule of God when “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” (Rev. 11:15). And we who believe the prophetic testimony of Christ will prepare to find God’s safety and provision for 1,260 days starting at the middle of the Tribulation, for forty-two months, those 3 1/2 years of what Jesus called the “great tribulation” (Matt. 24:21). Now is the time to prepare in Christ’s truths.

Do not set your hopes on the mid-term political elections next Tuesday, but rather on the truth and prophetic testimony of Jesus Christ. Everything else will fail, but prophetic truths of God and His Christ will live forever. In fact, by three separate witnesses Jesus Christ said it like this, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away” (Matt. 24:35; Mark 13:31; and Luke 21:33). That truth must get our attention; to ignore it will kill faith.

Christ is qualified to say that because He is the begotten Son of God, and “In the beginning was the Word, [Christ] and the word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made” (John 1:1–3). Further, Jesus said, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matt. 28:18–20). [My bold emphasis] But in their fear of Christ’s prophetic truths, while honoring traditions of men, many church leaders, pastors and teachers have literally coward from “teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you”. And in that vacuum of knowledge and truth, many will be swept away to perdition in “the falling away” (2 Thess. 2:3), when Antichrist is revealed. There will be many professing Christians who will refuse to believe that Antichrist is who he is because they were promised that they would be raptured before he was even revealed. You can change that for yourself and your loved ones by believing the One and only Son of God.
